We couldn't have asked for a nicer or more relaxing place to stay. Set on a quiet residential gated no through road, the villa was perfectly set up for families with lots of different sections to the garden so that you could move to various areas throughout the day with young children. Elsie & Daniel were the warmest holiday hosts we've ever encountered and they ensure that the villa is kept spotlessly clean and organised throughout your stay. The villa sits in beautiful tranquil woodlands and yet is so close to the local village of Valbonne and only 20 minutes from the coast. The villa is idyllic and the owners, Daniel and Elsie, ensured that our every possible need had been catered for. We would recommend this villa to anyone, particularly families, because there is something to satisfy all age groups.

We stayed at this villa for two weeks in early May as a group of 4 adults and one young baby (10 months). We found the owners to be incredibly helpful and friendly, from the initial booking stage to showing us around when we arrived (in perfect English) and offering many suggestions for things to do and see in the surrounding area during our stay. The villa itself is immaculate and very spacious (much more so than it looks in some of the photos on the website). It contains everything you would need to cater for a family, the kitchen is incredibly well equipped and the gas barbeque is great too. For a holiday with a young child it was ideal as everything possible was provided, including a cot and high chair as well as plastic crockery and even a blender to puree up some food for our daughter. She loved the outdoor area, especially the baby swing and the swimming pool. For older children the wooded area, swings, table tennis and huge selection of pool toys would definitely provide enough to keep them occupied for several days. The villa is in a fantastic location for visiting many nearby towns including Antibes, Cannes and Nice and the nearest village of Valbonne (circa 2km drive) is a beautiful place for a walk (particularly during the weekly market) or a meal. Overall we had a fantastic holiday staying in this villa and would highly recommend it to others.

We were four seniors and Villa Boisdoree turned out to be just perfect for all of us: We were lucky and got a last-minute cancellation: in over a decade of traveling in Europe; I have not stayed in such a well-appointed spotless place. Bravo to the owner Molles for making it a stand-out place: We each had our own quiet bedroom and bath on two levels; then we gathered each evening on the terrace overlooking the gqrden for a home-cooked meal. Adding to the pleasure was a pre-dinner swim in the lovely pool which unlike our US pools,was not overly chlorinated! There were several sets of Provencal dinnerware to choose from, so we had fun trying as many as we could, along with spotless kitchenware that would put Martha Stewart to shame! All conveniences like dishwasher; washing machine, dryer worked perfectly: Although we did not use them, a trampoline; swing set and Weber grill promised a good stay for a young family. We were lucky and will definitely recommend this one to our friends and family.
