We stayed here for a family celebration - we are a family of ten with ages ranging from two to seventy years. Before the holiday Melanie gave me thorough and very prompt replies to all my many questions, however trivial they might have been. The directions to the villa and the arrangements for retrieving the key were clear and the location was ideal for us: far enough from the coast to make the cost reasonable but near enough to reach the beaches by car. The villa itself took our breath away with its vast spaces, both inside and out. Although there were a lot of us it never felt crowded, and the fact that there was a playroom in addition to the huge main living area was a real bonus. The fact that the villa was provided with absolutely everything we could need was also a great plus: this made the first shop so much easier: we simply replaced anything we used up. The garden and pool were simply amazing: there was a massive playing area and Melanie had left out her family’s bicycles, skateboards, footballs, boules etc. However the main draw for adults and children alike was the pool. As we had a toddler with us we especially appreciated the safety barrier around it and the fact that it had a shallow area at one end. There were a couple of problems with the electrics which briefly affected the pool filter but they were speedily sorted so it was always in use. Melanie went away on holiday herself a few days after our arrival, but she had organised a very efficient friend of hers as our point of contact: Sue made sure she checked in with us frequently and was available for any problem that might arise, swiftly contacting Melanie for us when necessary. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this villa to anyone.
