“A very relaxing holiday”

The villa was everything we had hoped for. The children loved the pool; the views were stunning and the facilities great. Auribeau sur Siagne is a very pretty hilltop village with two good restaurants and there are many others in neighbouring villages.

“Magnificent villa, tranquil surroundings making an amazing holiday destination”

We had an amazing family holiday at Mimosa in July. The owners were most helpful in the run up to the holiday. They really went out their way to accommodate us and the information provided about the area and driving instructions were fantastic. The agents met us at the villa on our arrival and gave us more local information which proved invaluable, especially the location of a great boulangerie. The villa was the cleanest, most comfortable and well-equipt we have ever stayed in. The decor, furniture and fittings were of a very high standard and everything worked perfectly. It was the most well-equipt kitchen we have ever used in a rented property. The owners really have thought of everything. The layout of the villa was also very good with the huge open plan living/dining room. There was great air circulation especially at night. The swimming pool was immaculate and we all enjoyed using it. It was fantastic to have satellite tv and wifi which was easily accessible on the terrace. We spent most of our time on the terrace outside, eating under the shade by the kitchen or lazy in the sun by the pool. Just glorious.... The location was perfect for us. It was an easy drive to a very good restaurant in the village and great local shops. It was also very easy to get to the coast and drive into the hills to some very beautiful villages. We really can't think of any downsides to point out!

Re-visited Mimosa and everything was as good as we had remembered.. Peaceful & picturesque location but with shops and restaurants just down the valley.. En-suite bedrooms very clean & comfortable all with great views ... Kitchen well equipped for self catering ... large lounge for dining /relaxing Pool was great in the heat with plenty of toys for all ages Local resorts and beaches are about 20 mins away by car ... We golf and can recommend trying the local courses San Donat , Clos Amic , but there are quite a few others all with 1hours drive

“Wonderful holiday from ideal base”

The villa was just as described, affording excellent views and privacy. Equipped to a very high standard, the owner having seemingly thought of everything one could reasonably need to enjoy the stay. Pool was a particular highlight (very necessary to keep cool during the hottest part of the day (temperatures always 30 degrees plus)) and we took all meals on the outside terrace. Children (teenagers) and adults alike enjoyed the very reliable and fast wifi, Playstation and satellite TV (UK channels). You need a car to potter about in and access the local sights and beaches - but from the villa you can be installed on the beach in 30 minutes. Trips to Pegomas (10 mins) to stock up at supermarket were very easy - and Auribeau itself (5 mins) is an absolute delight. We enjoyed trips to Grasse, Cannes, Nice, Mouans Sartoux (good railway links to Cote D'Azur - large free car park) and Theoule sur Mer (best beaches) but such was the quality of the villa, spent much time just relaxing and happily working our way through piles of novels and engaging in marathon outdoor Monopoly, Black Jack and Trivial Pursuit Pursuit sessions.

“Great house with lovely pool and beautiful views”

We had a wonderful holiday in Villa Mimosas. The house is peaceful, full of light and space and has plenty of room for six people. We found it very clean and well-equipped. We loved the inviting pool and pool area and the terrace overlooking the hillside - absolutely beautiful views. The location is great for trips to Cannes, Juan-les-Pins, Antibes and other places at the coast as well as Grasse, etc. We did, however, not explore the coast as much as we had planned to as we thoroughly enjoyed staying at the terrace and by the pool which was very relaxing. Would highly recommend this property.

“Fabulous, peaceful location with stunning views”

This was our second stay at this villa. Changeover guys were very friendly, villa spotlessly clean on arrival and pool in great condition. Nice touch from the owners leaving a bottle of rose wine with a handwritten note. Demonstrates their attention to detail. We stayed with our 4 year old son, who happily spent the majority of the two weeks in the pool! Many other things to do nearby, Cannes is only 20 mins away and only a short drive into the hills to reach lovely villages such as Cabris, with the most amazing views.

“Perfect villa, fabulous location, wonderful holiday”

Ideal location in beautiful village in mountains but very central for coast and cities. The villa was lovely and extremely well equipped with every comfort possible. The owners were very helpful and thoughtful and always prompt and considerate with any query. We travelled as an extended family including a three year old and all had a wonderful time. Don't know how owners can bear to be away from property as we all felt very sad at the end of the week to be leaving and had to drag our selves away! Lots of useful information on amenities and things to do in the area was provided at the villa and the recommendations on where to eat were very useful, in particular the restaurant with the viewing area was superb. We all hope to return and will recommend it to family and friends.

“Superb villa, well equipped, ideal family villa in Provence”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2012

This villa is just as you see on the website. In excellent condition, fully equipped, good beds, superb bathrooms, huge living room. It's very quiet, easy to park and a complete equipped kitchen. Everything worked in the property. The pool area is spotlessly clean, again well organised, safe and alarmed. The views were stunning. For us, the location was ideal, away from the august crowds of provence, but easy to access environs of Grasse, and within an hour of Nice airport. We managed to tour extensively from the villa. We loved our stay and this villa comes highly recommended.
