The villa is very nicely decorated and well-furnished, with a modern kitchen and elegant dining/living area. The villa has four bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms (including one with a bath) and two separate toilets. There is a shaded seating area around the pool and even a small gym and table-tennis table. The owners speak very good English and gave us a warm welcome to the property, with a comprehensive tour of the facilities. The village of Le Rouret is 30 mins from Nice airport and has all the local facilities we needed, including good supermarkets, bakers, delicatessens and some good restaurants. There are also many good restaurants within 10-20 minutes drive in Opio and Valbonne. There are many places to visit - we enjoyed a trip to Grasse to visit a perfume manufacturer (you can make your own perfume) as well as to Monaco, Cannes, Antibes and the stunning hill-top villages of St Paul de Vence and Eze. When we went in September, the area was suffering from "tiger mosquitoes", so be prepared - but there are plenty of products available in the UK to buy before you leave. Overall though, we had a lovely holiday; it is a very well-apppointed villa, with attentive owners in a beautiful part of the South of France.
We spent two weeks in Le Rouret in June 2013, and have no hesitation to recommend both the villa and the landlord. The photos on the site were accurate and the villa was easy to find with a navigator. There was plenty of room for the five of us, and the house would easily have accomodated two or three more. Everything was spotless when we arrived. Everything works fine - a clean pool, good showers and excellent kitchen and barbecue. The kitchen equipment was near new and better and more extensive than we expected. There is a bakery and food shops within 5-10 minutes' walk, and a large Casino supermarket about five minutes' drive away. Le Rouret is on a main road between Nice and Grasse, it's probably about half an hour from Nice airport. We found the owners very helpful and friendly and easy to deal with. Everything was carefully explained and professionally done - they were not intrusive but always available when needed. They were happy to help us with little extras, and the deposit was returned promptly. Both speak excellent English.
