Luxury 6 bedroom villa available for corporate and holiday rentals
Overlooking the Cannes city center the old Citadelle and Palais des Festival, the villa is situated in the hills behind the center just 2 km, 5 minutes by car or a 20 minutes walk, from the famous boulevard la Croissette with its beautiful beaches and restaurants. The villa is located next to the well-known museum villa Domerque, has all day sun, total privacy and is very safe indeed. It has a fantastic view overlooking the Mediterean sea and the Ersterel mountains with a fabulous sunset. The villa is a typical French style building with the entrance hall on the top floor.
The villa has five double bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The main bedroom has sliding doors opening onto the pool deck perfect for an early refreshing swim exercise.
There is a spacious open plan living room and dining area that is lightly decorated and modern / classic, yet still paying respect to the age of the building with high ceilings and vintage design. Here are sliding doors entering the terrace looking out onto the city, the azure bleu golf de La Napoule, Theoule and the mountains, which have snow on their tops in wintertime. Next to the living room is the separate kitchen with modern accessories, oven, microwave, induction hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and utensils.
Lounge and Dining area: The villa offers a spacious and open plan living room and dining area. The dining table is set in its own area within the open plan layout and outside view, which is excellent when entertaining guests. The lounge/dining area is lightly decorated with design fixtures and fittings. The area has a homely feel but with a corporate, fresh and pleasant look.
The lounge has two sofas; there is a satellite television with 100 plus channels and 42inch screen along with a DVD player. There is also a stereo system and speakers in the living area.
In the garden you will find a shower and toilet, a Swedish sauna and a well equipped summer kitchen with American refrigerator and oven, dishwasher and professional grill, which will make you enjoy great lunches or dinners accompanying up to at least 8 persons.
On the ground floor you will find a professional laundry, an extra bedroom with bathroom for an au pair girl or service employee. There is also a garage for two cars.
From the terrace, you can see the curve of the Croissette with its beaches. At night the view is spectacular when the city is lit up and the coastline is lit. Not forgetting the hundreds of light spots in the mountains.
More information: The city Cannes has the famous rue d'Antibes with its countless design shops, the well-known Old Port of Cannes and the Gare Maritime de Cannes. The Palais des Festivals has visitors all year long and the casino's are on walking distance. There are hundreds restaurants with all international cuisine tastes. Many bars and coffee shops are located around the old harbor and this is an easy access to Cannes' beautiful beaches, open beach restaurants for great lunches and diners. To return to the villa will cost you less than €20,- by taxi or a 30 minutes walk.
At you arrival you will be welcomed by a lady who will explain you the details of the villa. She will pass by every morning to hear about your wishes, is willing to do your laundry, and if you wish buy your food. Her husband who is also the gardener and looks after the (heated) pool is happy to help you with a barbeque evening (all this for €20,- / hour at your own expenses).

“Nice could use some updates”

“Excellent in every respect.”
The owners of this villa understate its very high standard. It is well-maintained,smart and functional yet retains a "family home" feel. The view of The Bay of Cannes is beautiful yet the house is very peaceful although it is only 5 minutes drive from Cannes. The manager and cleaning team are helpful and charming and nothing was too much trouble for them.They are also extremely flexible,a great advantage when you have a large entourage. We had a number of local friends to visit and they were all most impressed.
