Welcome to La Lavande du Plein Soleil (lavender in the full sun), your vacation home in the heart of the Vaucluse valley in the charming, enchanting and legendary Provence region of southern France, situated directly on the Route Touristique des Cotes du Rhone.
A short walk from the center of Sarrians, a charming typical Provence village dating back to the tenth century, La Lavande offers a relaxing respite in an idyllic location.
Twenty minutes from Avignon and Orange, forty five from Arles, one hour from Marseille and the Mediterranean, two hours from Nice, four hours from Barcelona and Geneva, La Lavande is centrally located in an area of Europe packed with recreational opportunities: history, museums, architecture, antiquities, hiking, bike riding, equestrian centers, tennis, golf, nature preserves, Mediterranean beaches, gastronomy, wine tastings and vineyards, local markets, and shopping (did you know that the denim fabric we all wear came originally from Nimes?. That's why it's called denim: de Nimes: from Nimes). All of these are available to you at La Lavande.
Of course, if a quiet day by the pool is what you need, that’s available too. La Lavande is wonderfully private and insulated, with a cornucopia of roses, palm trees, cypress, jasmine, laurier, iris, fragrant lavender, fig and olive trees and more, all surrounding the private four meter by eight meter pool.
The house consists of an open living space with fully equipped kitchen, dining area, den/office area, and living room. Outside the dining area is the herb garden with fresh basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme and more.. to give your foods an authentic Provencal flavor. The villa also has a queen bedroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom, toilet, and bathroom. French doors open onto a terrace which leads to a summer kitchen and barbecue and the pool. The guest house, facing the pool has a queen bedroom with a table and two chairs, a shower, sink and toilet, and its own terrace with table and chairs.
Amenities include microwave oven, toaster, automatic dishwasher and coffeemaker, high speed internet access, clothes washer, cable TV with multi-region DVD player and CD player. Parties are limited to six persons.
