Description
This is a family home inherited by the present owners from an aunt and used by them for some periods of the year. The ground floor comprises an entrance hall, a large sitting room and dining room with sliding doors between, a study/library and a fully-equipped kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms are described above. Much of the furniture is antique (also inherited) and the walls are decorated with paintings by the former owner, Anne Carlisle.
The 2800 sqm garden has been created from a terraced olive grove with centuries-old trees under-planted with flowering shrubs and with paved areas for eating out and relaxing. There is a 10mx5m private pool and extensive views to the Esterel hills, the sea and the hill-villages of Chateauneuf and Opio
The house stands at the end of a private road and it is not overlooked from any direction.
