Description

'La Bastide' offers tranquility and breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the surrounding valleys and vineyards. The property is very private and neighbouring only with the vines, giving our guests a feeling of total relaxation.

The two villas are perfect for friends and families traveling together but still wanting the privacy of their own home.

There is a separate heated pool for each house and barbecue areas which look out over the vines and Maures hills. Set in lush mature gardens the terraces are furnished for dining and lounging in shaded areas while others bask in sunshine. The french chic interiors are designed to give a 'boutique hotel' and Provencale feel to the villas, while modern requirements such as WIFI English freeview TV to make you feel at home! You will find the village of Plan de la Tour a 10 minute walk, where there is a collection of restaurants to sample plus a colourful weekly market and 2 small supermarkets.

We can arrange to have the fridge full and catering, allowing your first evening to be truely a relaxing stress free holiday experience!

St Tropez and Pampalone beach are a 25 minute drive just waiting for the guest in search of the ultimate entertainment on the Cote d'Azur!

Towels and linen provided. All bedlinen is in high-count Egyptian cotton and the towels come in 3 sizes. Separate pool towels included. Cleaning on Saturdays (2 hours) is included plus a weekly linen change. Maid service can be arranged on extra days upon request. Toiletries and exit cleaning are also included. Perfect for children. Fans are available. Pool can be heated to 28 degrees weather permitting. There is a fully stocked pantry in both villas plus some of the wine from the property vineyard. Cleaning/linen change for 2 hours on Saturdays for 2 weeks stay is included in the cost. There are many English books available to read in the houses plus free WIFI through the properties and grounds.

Heating during autumn winter spring months is charged locally related to use.

The villas are set within their own small vineyard which is amung lush gardens and evergreen forests. There are 2 pools surrounded by tiled terraces and close to the house there are 2 Gas barbecue areas ideal for al fresco cooking and dining. Bastide 1 offers a large outdoor kitchen with BBQ, pizza oven, stone sink, ideal for cooking everything outside. There are dining tables to seat 8 people or 12 at Bastide 1. The 4 terraces are all furnished with teak sun loungers, tables, chairs and comfortable outdoor lounging chairs/sofas. La Bastide has the unique advantage of 2 swimming pools. The pool at Bastide 2 can be heated to 28 weather permitting. Pool 1 is 7.2 x4 meters and 1-2 meters depth. Pool 2 is 10x5 meters and 1-2 meters depth. The houses face west and south west and the outdoor terraces bathe in the sunset from the direction of the vineyard all year! The proximity to the village is ideal for walking 10 minutes to get morning croissants and bread in any of the 3 bakeries.

The pool cover must be on when the pool is not in use from April to June and September to end of October, unless otherwise recommended. If the pool is uncovered at after the sun goes down the pool temperature will drop rapidly.
