Villa with gorgeous shapely private pool in enclosed garden, lovely views and air conditioning throughout, 20 minutes drive from the coast.
Villa Milena is situated 1.5 km from the village of Auribeau sur Siagne, at the entrance to the Siagne gorge, between Cannes and Grasse with sandy beaches just a 20 minute drive away. The property boasts a private pool, air conditioning throughout and an enclosed garden.
The perched village of Auribeau sur Siagne is very picturesque, with lovely little streets, an 18th Century church right at the top, from which point, you can admire the superb views of the surrounding country. From the village you can walk down to the river but bear in mind it is pretty steep walking back up!
The beauty of this location is that it is off the beaten tourist track and is cool and peaceful in the summer, yet it is only 9 km from the glitzy town of Cannes and 20 min from the sandy beaches.
ACCOMMODATION
Living room with TV (some English channels), DVD player, large corner sofa, two rattan armchairs and fireplace. Dining area/breakfast bar off the kitchen. Electric blinds throughout. Sliding doors leading to a furnished terrace with pool view. Second terrace on the other side of the villa.
Fully fitted kitchen opening onto the living room. Dishwasher, American fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, kettle, coffee machine and toaster. Washing machine in outbuilding.
Three bedrooms, one with ensuite shower room. Please note; all beds can be made into twin or doubles on request. Bathroom with bath and wc. One fan per room available.
Large enclosed garden. Well maintained, flat garden with Mediterranean vegetation such as palm trees, olive trees, etc which offers privacy. South-facing terrace partly covered by two large awnings. Great views over the rolling countryside. Outdoor furniture. Second small terrace with table and two chairs on opposite side of villa. Sun loungers. Built-in charcoal barbecue. Car port for two cars plus ample other parking.
Salt water pool. (A salt water pool has much lower salinity than sea water and because it has lower chlorine levels it is much gentler on the eyes and skin). Pool size: 11m x 5m, depth 1.2m – 1.95m. Alarm security system. Shapely pool with steps. Outside solar shower.
Included in the rental:
Bed linen and house towels (not pool towels). For two week stays or more a change of bed linen and towels is provided.
Water and electricity.
Cot and highchair available. Please ask at the time of booking.
Not included in rental:
Compulsory cleaning charge of 150€ payable in cash on arrival.
A security deposit of 800€ is payable on arrival and refunded on departure once an inventory has been made. Additional cleaning and babysitting available on request and at a supplement.
Check-in on Saturday between 5-8pm. Late arrivals can be arranged but must be requested at least a month in advance. Checkout before 10am.
