Description

Villa Jolie is located in a quiet and private residential area of Cannes and is perfect for family or corporate accommodation.There is a sea view to the South and a mountain view to the North.

The upper level contains the large reception and dining area with adjacent fully equipped kitchen and one double bedroom with en suite bathroom. The lower level contains 4 further double bedrooms, 2 with en suite bath/shower rooms while the other 2 share an adjacent separate bathroom. Both levels are surrounded by encircling balconies which can be accessed by french doors from the rooms.

There is a separate pool house at the pool level which contains the sixth double bedroom, en suite bathroom and a second fully equipped kitchen with sitting area. The large pool has a shallow end which is great for kids and deeper end which is suitable for more proficient divers. From end to end it is possible to have a 17m uninterrupted swim.

There are 4 separate terraced areas for entertaining and relaxing, and mature gardens surround the property to ensure a feeling of privacy.

There is a lockable car port at the upper level and a lockable garage at the lower level. 4 further off road parking spaces are situated at the lower garage level.

All rooms have independent air conditioning and ceiling fans. The interior floors are marble.
There is free wi-fi internet coverage and the reception room contains a 54" high definition TV with access to French terrestrial channels and Freesat UK satellite channels. There is also a Bose surround sound DVD and radio entertainment system.

The two encircling balconies are tiled with terracotta and are wide enough to set up dining tables or to relax and enjoy the views.
4 separate terraces at various levels surround the villa and are equipped with comfortable outside furniture and dining tables. Table tennis can be played on the pool house roof terrace.
12 sun loungers with thick, comfortable cushions are situated by the pool. The pool has a built in alarm system for the protection of young children.
At night, outside lanterns and multi coloured pool lights enhance the magical ambiance.
Amongst many other plants, the garden contains 12 mature olive trees, a magnificent fir tree and two glorious bougainvillea plants. There is also a lemon tree and various types of interesting cacti. The pool is lined on one side by cypress trees.

I have noted your comments about the standard of cleaning on this occasion and I have passed this on to the housekeeper, who has apologised and has assured me of a higher standard in future. With regard to the bed which you describe as "tiny", it is 140cm wide and 190cm long - a standard queen size bed although not as big as the other 3 double beds which are very large ( one king size and 2 super king size). I suppose in comparison the bed you are referring to is small, but only because the others are so large. I don't know which route you used to walk into town but I regularly walk it with the dog in 20 minutes, nevertheless I will always recommend having use of transport of some kind to get around and about. I thank you very much for your review and I'm pleased that you had an enjoyable holiday at the villa.

This villa is really perfect, overlooking Cannes in a quiet area with 4 parking places. We rented it together a group of friends and thanks to the large surfaces both interior and exterior along with a fantastic pool, we had a wonderful trip.
