Description
Charming 18th century, stone Mas, situated in lovely gardens of 6500 square meters; with its lavender & olive groves & captivating views to the bay of Cannes, this property simply typifies Provence. Originally a farmhouse which specialized in growing flowers for the perfume industry, the Mas has been restored with love and taste. With its stone floors, wooden beams, large, pool, sunbathing areas, Petanque court & covered parking, the Mas welcomes you for an unforgettable stay on the Côte d'Azur!
The Mas has plenty of space around it, the large grounds are terraced with traditional dry stone walls (restanques). The entrance to the property is through an electric sliding gate with coded entry and video phone. There is a long, and automatically fully lit drive up to the house, with the garages and parking area well separated from the house and pool areas.
The house itself consists of 200m2 of living area set over 3 floors, with a large stone central staircase. There 4 very large bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and dining area, and 3 Bathroom/ WC's and 2 seperate WC's.
The ground floor comprises of the kitchen and separate pantry, WC and a large living room/ dining area with log burning stove, 55 inch Smart TV/ DVD, French, English and Turkish Satellite TV. Wifi, Apple TV, and a Sonos music system in both the lounge and kitchen areas.
On the 1st floor there are 2 VIP bedrooms, both with en suite bath and showers, one of 30 M2 the other of 25 M2.
On the Second floor there are 2 attic bedrooms, one is a very large loft bedroom of 35 M2 with a double bed and also a divan sofa that opens to a double bed, the other room is 20M2 with 2 single beds that can also be organized as a double bed, both these bedrooms share a separate WC and bathroom with Italian shower. All the bathrooms are newly renovated in stone in a traditional style.
The pool area is separate from the house, complete with a large pool of 9 x 4.5 meters and a plage with 6 sun loungers and a large table with 6 chairs, plenty of shade is provided by parasols and two very large palm trees; there are engaging and unspoiled views from the pool down the valley to Theoule sur mer and the bay of Cannes.
There is a very large terrace in front of the house with a large table and seating for 8 and again with the same views down the valley.
Behind the house there is a large terrace with Petanque court to while the evenings away drinking Pastis and playing Boules!
Access all areas with a double garage, covered parking area and plenty of space for additional parking for visitors.
In short idyllic, Provencal living with everything close to hand yet without the drawbacks.
