Experience the charms of life in a historic French town at this restored, semi-detached house nestled in the heart of Villeneuve les Avignon, which is close to Avignon. Once the residence of cardinals, the property is close to culture sites, markets, shops and superb restaurants. The town is well known for its local market on Thursdays and its antique market on Saturdays.

Housed on fenced grounds, this semi-detached villa has a private entrance for guests, as well as a private garden area that has a patio with an al fresco dining area, barbecue and table for 8. The gated swimming pool (9m x 5m, depth 1.20m to 2m) is for the exclusive use of guests and is flanked by armchairs and a table for 8. Guests also have access to the shared tennis courts that are part of the tennis club at the edge of the property. A car park is found at the back of the property.

Ground Floor: The villa opens onto an entrance hall with a large fireplace. The open plan features a living room with two couches, satellite TV, DVD player and iPod docking station, plus another living area with a couch and several armchairs. The room extends to the dining area, which features a table for 8. The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, large cooktop with 6 gas burners, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, coffee maker, blender, toaster and wine cupboard. There is a laundry area with washing machine, dryer and ironing station, and a cellar with a fridge and ice maker. A toilet is on this floor as well. There are two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm; can be converted into 2 single beds upon prior request), and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, basin, toilet and hairdryer. This room has electric heating. The second bedroom, which is air-conditioned and has a door to the garden, contains a king-size bed (180 cm; can be converted into 2 single beds upon prior request), and an ensuite bathroom with tub, basin, toilet and hairdryer. There is also an underground passive (not climate-controlled) wine cellar.

First Floor: This floor has four bedrooms, all of which are air conditioned. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed (160 cm) and an ensuite bathroom with an Italian shower, basin, toilet and hairdryer. The second bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm; can be converted into 2 single beds upon prior request), and ensuite bathroom with an Italian shower, basin, toilet and hairdryer. The third bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm; can be converted into 2 single beds upon prior request), and an ensuite bathroom with Italian shower, basin, toilet and hairdryer. The fourth bedroom is a master suite with a king-size bed (180 cm; can be converted into 2 single beds upon prior request), an office with a desk, library and safe, and an ensuite bathroom with shower, basin, toilet and hairdryer. This room also has a door that leads to the garden.
