Beautiful villa with swimming pool , located in the countryside, halfway between Les Calanques of Cassis/Cap Canaille and Aix-en-Provence, a property standing in an acre of wood land with the Sainte Baume mountain as a backdrop. The highlight is the pool, consisting of a waterfall coming out of the trees, various species of shrubs and fragrant flowers make it a little paradise for doves, and multiple coloured dragonflies . Sipping a well deserved glass of local rosé wine by the pool or on one of the other numerous terraces of the villa is always appreciated after a hard day on the beach or a hike in the Calanques .The property stands in 5000m2 of woodland and gardens . Parking is within the grounds of the property and it is only a 3 minute walk from a hamlet called 'le Pigeonnier ' with the possibility of biking or jogging along country paths. It is only a 3 minute drive from the village of la Bouilladisse with supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and doctors . Access to the motorway towards Aix or Cassis takes you to the beaches and the natural park of 'les Calanques of Cassis / Marseille and La Ciotat ". Ideal for hiking, climbing or biking in the surrounding countryside, :
La Sainte Baume and La Sainte Victoire, les Calanques , Marcel Pagnol countryside. Cap Canaille which is the highest cliff in Europe with its fantastic panoramic views on the coastal villages of Cassis and La Ciotat.
Night markets abound during the summer months with day markets all year round in the famous university town of Aix-en-Provence.
It is ideally situated for tours of our beautiful Provencal towns and their markets: Cassis, Bandol, Aix, Marseille ...For a day out , you can admire the fabulous Gorges du Verdon, the olive groves of the Luberon with its well known Provencal villages of Gordes, Apt and Lourmarin,. The mountain range of Les Alpilles with its medieval village of Les Beaux de Provence.

The house consists of a bright and spacious lounge of more than 50m2 with large glazed bay windows overlooking a terrace with chairs and tables. A large Provencal style kitchen with its beautiful terrace and barbecue. A hallway with separate WC takes you to the sleeping area: Bedroom 1 with xl bed which has access to a terrace with table tennis table . Bedroom 2 sleeps 4 : bunk bed , and 2 single beds . -Bedroom 3 : xlong double bed with ensuite shower . .A large bathroom with separate shower and bath.
Its location is perfect for a quiet vacation while staying close to beaches and fun activities.
Activities for children nearby are numerous: OK Corral Cuges les Pins, Aqualand St Cyr Sur mer , Escaldarbre in Auriol, Aix en Provence, Parc de Saint Pons Gemenos, Village des Automates Saint Cannat, Marineland Antibes, La Barben Zoo ....
Activities for adults include , hiking, visiting the famous creeks "Les calanques de Cassis" by boat . Visit l'Estaque to soak up the atmosphere created through impressionist painters such as Cezanne and a short drive or walk up the hill at the back of the house to look over La Sainte Victoire also famous through Cezanne's landscape paintings . A short drive to Aix-en-Provence where you can admire the main street 'le cours Mirabeau' and visit the museum 'Granier '
20 minutes in the other direction , will have you in the heart of Marseille with the famous MUCEM museum, Fort St Jean, Ils de Frioul. it's newly renovated dock area in La Joliette. many jazz and music festivals are on the agenda both during and out of season.

“Lovely place”
Charming place with charming atmosphere. House fully equipped. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. Good localization . Cool base for exploring Marseille and Cassis. We were there with a group of colleagues during EURO 2016 and all the stay mentioned very nice. The owner Julie is very nice and the contact person. The only thing is to improve a filter in the pool :))
