Description
Le Mas dou Riset is a holiday home in a local mansion style “Mas de Provence“, with a private swimmingpool located between Avignon and Saint Remy in the French Provence in a little town called Cabannes.
The holiday villa's groundfloor has 2 big livingrooms, one of approximately 65m² with cosy furniture around the chimney, a piano and on the other side of the living a pooltable. The other living is 100 m2 and also has a piano, a very large dining table for 12 people (but 16 can eat on the table comfortabely), with cosy furniture a mezzanine with a flatscreen for calm TV watching. It also has 2 large windows bays which open to the garden and terrace.
The kitchen is equiped with 4 induction cooking plates, a build in BBQ, a hood, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, a nespresso machine, a hot water boiler. It has a breakfast table which can seat 8 persons. There is also a storage room with a small electric winecellar which can hold approximately 30 bottles, nice to have your wine cool for the summer aperitives.
The laundry is equipped which a washing machine and dryer. The groundfloor bathroom has a large shower and toilet.The first floor has a total of 5 bedrooms.
The masterbedroom with private bathroom has a French double bed 160 x 200 cm, a large shower and toilet and airconditioning, the room and bathroom measure approximately 30m².
The 2nd bedroom with a private bathroom has twinbeds, a shower and toilet and and incorporated small dressing cupboard, the room and bathroom measure approximately 30m².
The 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds, incorporated large dressings, the room measures approximately 16 m².
The 4th bedroom has a double bed of 140 x 200 cm, has incorporated large dressings, the room measures approximately 15 m².
The 5th bedroom has twinbeds, incorporated dressings, the room measures approximately 13 m².
All twinbeds are 90 x 200 cm and can be used as single beds or can be put together as double beds.
This side of the house also has bathroom (approx. 6m²) with a large bath, which can also be used as shower.
The garden is surrounded by a wall, with an electric gate at the entrance. The local road right next to the holiday villa takes you right downtown to the townhall. There you can also find a bakeryshop for fresh french baguettes every day.The garden has a swimming pool with light salt chloride water , the pool measures 10 x 5 meters and can be covered electrically (a electric robot system) for both security and to maintain the water temperature. You can also choose to keep the pool open at night in order to enjoy the lights of an illuminated swimming pool. 10 relaxing chairs are located around the pool and on the terrace around the pool.You can enjoy breakfast on the terrace in front of the kitchen, with a table which can seat 10 persons. The terrace in front of the large living is located under a 130 year old platane tree and gives a more than welcome shadow at noon for lunch at the lunchtable, which can also seat 12 people.
On this terrace you can also find cosy garden furniture (couch and chairs) for relaxing or reading.Cars can be parked on the premises behind the wooden fence, so that they are out of sight when you are enjoying your stay on the terrace or by the swimming pool. Of course a an outdoor BBQ aswell as charchoal is provided. The garden, pool, terraces etc. in front of the house measure approximately 400 m² and are located in front of the house facing south. The holidayhome is surrounded by neigbour house with gardens full of trees.
The small house next door is inhabited by a nice old lady. You can also leave the premises by that side of the house, if you would like to walk or bike out of Cabannes without taking the local road.The holiday house is equipped with bedlinnen, towels, cutlery, plates for inside the house and for outside the house.
The swimming pool is checked once a week.
Bedlinnen and towels are optionnal 14 € per person.
Final cleaning is optionnal 95 €, if you choose to stay longer than one week extra cleaning is available for 95€.
If you wish absolute privacy, the swimming pool and cleaning staff will not come during your stay. But if you wish additional service, such as more cleaning, extra change of bedlinnen and towels, a private cook, or cooking lessons, or a culinary evening with nice food and wine tasting, or a guide to show you this part of the provence, please don't hesitate to contact us, will will be more than happy to provide you with these or other services if available of course.Optionnaly,the electric winecellar will furthermore be filled with nice bottles of wine and champaign, which you can choose to taste and purchase. You can re order these wines, they can be delivered on a short notice.
