For a quote please contact me to discuss the overall cost which depends on number in party....requirements etc for this Unique medevial house, believed to be the village gatehouse. It is a lovely bright and sunny Medieval village house set within the Rampart walls of a protected village. Neighbour to Gordes. Senanque. Close to Avignon. Steeped in history and mystic, this village will charm those who like atmosphere and a real getaway. Ideal for artists...of any leaning, couples and families who like a gentle rythme to their holidays. . Comfortable & decorated in keeping with village history. Modern whilst using traditional fabrics and furnishings. Part of the house dates back to 12c. This village house naturally does not have a private pool, but an arrangement with the local hotel to use their pool with agreement and with conditions. However, there are multiple swimming opportunities surrounding the village for summer months. It comes with a log fire and wood for use in autumn and winter months. It is suitable for most children, but the house is on three levels and may not be ideal for more boisterous children or guests with severe mobility issues. It comes fully equipped with everything needed to make a perfect holiday.

Additional notes:

The village has a boulangerie, post office and three lovely restaurants. A small grocers for daily items. There are daily markets throughout the summer period and regular weekly days during off peak periods.

Although no smoking is allowed in the main living areas, there is ample seating just outside. There is a children's park near the house.

Parking is easy, just near the house, or in the event of festivals where the car park is occupied, private parking in a neighbours

driveway.

The house is reputed to be the village Gatehouse. With history stemming back to when Avignon was the Papal City. The village was home to the Bishops. The village still retains it's mysteries, with stories yet to unfold regarding its past.

Now, it is still a relatively hidden gem, neighbour to famous places as Gordes, Sentanque, Fontain de Vaucluse, Mont Ventoux, and of course Avignon, which is around 20 minutes away.

Very large convivial dinning room which can seat up to 6 very comfortable with extra chairs for guests.

Grenier loft sitting room leading to twin bedroom with en suit facilities.

Roof Terrace. Highest spot in the village and with wonderful 360 views over to Mont Ventoux and the Vaucluse mountain range to the left and Luberon mountain range to the right.
