Description

Villa Venus is a magnificent villa situated in a residential and sought after area of Cannes in La Croix des Gardes. Ideally situated at only 10 minutes walk from the sea and 15 minutes walk from the town centre of Cannes. This property nestles on the hillside of Cannes and is surrounded by trees and greenery. For nature lovers, walkers and cyclists, the Croix des Gardes offers plenty of footpaths and tracks in it's « Green Zone » with spectacular views over the bay of Cannes.Peace and transquility guaranteed and only minutes from the buzz of Cannes.

Cannes has many facets and this property is an ideal base for discovering the numerous luxury boutiques, restaurants, beaches, the old town of Le Suquet and the colourful markets offering local quality, products.

For those visiting Cannes on business at the Palais des Festivals, you will be glad to come home to Villa Venus to relax after a hard day's work.

Descriptif

This old farmhouse in 1000m² of grounds, was renovated and extended in the 90s. The owner has taken great care to restore the house with taste and has preserved it's charm and authenticity whilst integrating all modern facilities.

The property is gated, fenced and entirely private.

The private pool (10m X 5m) is surrounded by a colourful garden and the grapevine covering the pergola provides shade from the sun. There is ample seating and sunbeds around the pool..

The covered terrace provides a great place for outdoor dining with BBQ and seating for 20 guests.

Just off the pool area, is the snooker room and downstairs, the gymnasium with four types of training apparatus and shower.

In the main house, the living area is very spacious (80m²) and consists of TV area, dining room with seating for 20 guests, fully equipped kitchen and breakfast area.

There are 6 bedrooms, all with plenty of cupboard space. 6 bathrooms and toilets. 1 bathroom has bath and the 5 others are shower rooms.

Of the 6 bedrooms, one has a 200cm bed, the second a 140 cm and the others all have twin beds. In the most spacious of the bedrooms there are two additional twin beds and a cot for baby with plenty of extra space to add beds if necessary.A family room is also available with sofa beds to sleep 4. We can accomodate between 18 and 20 guests. Baby equipment is available on request.

Please note that we have to charge a local stay tax which is calculates at a maximum of 1.85 euros per adult per night. This will be calculated on your arrival.

Close to most facilities but located on a steep hill. If you have young children or elderly persons staying at the villa you will need own transport or be prepared to use taxis or buses.

We had a fantastic time in Villa Venus - Sally and Chantal were very welcoming and had thought of everything. The villa is private and secure with a pool alarm - important when staying with young children. Would highly recommend!
