If you like nature and animals, you will love this place ! "La Belle Endormie" welcomes you on 5000 sq meters of flourished gardens, in a heaven of peace and quiet.
This amazing family house has an exceptional living room (salon, dining room and kitchen are all in open space of 70m2) with a breathtaking view to the garden and terrasse overlooking the private pool.
Perfect for family or friends gatherings, it can host up to 9 people + 2 babies.
An extra single bed can be added upon request to accommodate 10 people.
The very large pool is safely equipped by an electrical rolling shutter : BEST SECURITY FOR KIDS The depth of 2 meters at it's center allows plongeons while a more shallow area makes it great for water games.
"La Belle Endormie" is ideal for those who love nature and animals. 2 horses, one dog and some hens live on the property. All are perfectly well educated : do not bark, do not enter the house, are very docile and friendly with adults and adore children !! They are taken care of by the owners (extremely discreet) who live on the property in a completely independent house with no views to "La Belle Endormie" and a private entrance.
Numerous walking and riding paths are directly accessible.
The house is only 800 meters away from a supermarket (open 7/7, with gaz station), only 1 km from charming hilltop village of Bagnols-en-Forêt (bakers, restaurants, bars, chemist, doctors...), 20 min. from the famous sand beaches of Saint Raphaël, Fréjus and Saint Aygulf. 35 minutes from Cannes, 1 hour from the international Nice Airport, 1 hour from Saint Tropez.
Wifi internet access, cable TV. Plenty of table games, DVDs in all languages, CDs, books (in english and french) and toys for children.
The house is composed of : 4 Bedrooms all on garden floor except one on the mezzanine, 2 full bathrooms (one with shower, sink and wc, the other bath, sink and wc)
HOUSE LAYOUT:
The ground floor :
Covered porched with 4 steps from the garden. This gives access to a very large room of 70m2 composed of :
dining room (table for 12) giving direct access to partially covered terrasse facing the garden and pool. Living room with 3 sofas for seatings for 10 also with direct access to garden and terrasse by large bow windows.
Kitchen opening on the dining room with eating space for 6.
The covered terrasse is equipped with table for 10 seatings.
The 1st floor :
On the first floor of this living room of 70m2, is an open space for those who need to use a desk to work or play (numerous children books and table games at disposal)
1) Another part of the first floor is dedicated to a real bedroom with soundproof door, double blazed widows. Queen double bed of 140cm. A baby bed can be added upon request.
The rest of the house is separated from the living room by a corridor giving access to :
2) The master bedroom of 35 m2 composed of a king double bed (2 twin beds of 90cm with overmatress), and one single bed.
The master bedroom has access to a private terrasse facing south and overlooking the garden.
Upon request the following equipments can be added to this room : one extra single bed and one baby bed.
3) One bedroom with king size bed of 160 cm large giving access to a private indoor patio with deck, small table and 2 deck chairs (perfect to watch the stars ;-))
4) One bedroom with 2 twin beds of 90cm large
One separate bathroom with sink, bidet and WC.
ON PROPERTY at your disposal :
- A large outdoor swimming pool - a beautiful covered terrasse facing pool along with large natural stone floors around the pool. - a shaded pétanque area along with iron balls- a ping-pong table tennis. - Deck chairs, outdoor sofa, arm chairs and outdoor tables- children saw, bikes...
All bedrooms are equipped with mosquito screens so that you can sleep with windows open and avoid to use chemical mosquito repellents. That said, Bagnols is at an altitude of 280 meters and benefits from a very pleasant soft breeze, which you will appreciate, especially on hot evening summers.
Bedrooms are also equipped with individual fans.
The house is near everything and you are welcome to use the house bicycles to get to the village by side roads (please use them with care !)
A small supermarket open 7/7 with gas station is only 500 meters away. The village is only a two minutes car ride away and can be accessed by bicycle without having to take the main road. There you will find two bakeries, some restaurants, bars, a small open air market, a chemist, doctors, nurses, the school, the Office of Tourism and even a small museum. The Hyper-markets are at 10 minutes car ride (SuperU, Intermarché, Leclerc). But at the same time we are in a charming environment in the middle of nature with a direct access to the hiking or horse riding paths.
In Bagnols-en-Forêt you will find an organic producer of vegetables. In a "Marché Paysan" (gathering of local farmers), located only 10 minutes car ride from here, you will be able to purchase organic meat, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, wine, olive oil, honey, flowers...

“An absolute gem of a holiday home”
We visited this holiday home for the last week in August 2019 and what an amazing time we had. The house itself is beautiful and so well equipped with more than enough space for 6 adults and 2 children. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. All the cooking utensils were at our disposal, with endless crockery and cutlery. The bonus of a washing machine meant I didn’t take home a suitcase of dirty clothes. The pool is just fantastic and deep enough for adults to swim. Many a great hour was spent playing in there. The bonus of the holiday were the fantastic hosts Jean-Jacques and Celine. Discrete yet available if you needed them. They kindly took my 6 year old daughter for a ride on their horse, which she adored and said it was a highlight of her holiday. We will be back !
