We enjoyed a fabulous holiday here this summer. We were two families with a total of six children between us, three teenagers. The house swallowed us all up being very spacious and multi levelled so we never felt on top of each other. The two teenage boys used the studio as thier own den and enjoyed being independent, until meal times, when they mysteriously appeared. The pool is a good size and was much used but for me the stand out facility of this house is it's 200 meter proximity to Callas village centre. A minutes stroll see's you in the square where you join the queue of locals chatting whilst waiting to buy the morning bread and pastries . A coffee in the bar on the way back marvelling at how the local men can digest that small glass of rose at that time of the day. There is a small but ample supermarket in the village and a handful of restaurants all popular with locals and day trippers. We enjoyed the three course lunchtime deals at 16 Euros which included a quarter carafe of wine and was enjoyed over about two hours. Lovely food and wine and convenient enough that the kids could head back to the pool when they tired of being sat listening to our attempts at schoolboy French. The house is well appointed being vastly experienced in catering for holiday makers needs. Absolutely everything was present and when the girls voiced 'cake making' out came the food processor as if by magic. Photos cannot convey the magnificence of the views from the terrace , where I sat for a good deal of the week we were there. I never tired of gazing across the vista. The children enjoyed the ability to walk to the village and get an ice cream when they fancied it ( They are old enough now and it proved a great distraction). There are plenty of attractions in the area to chose from when we felt energetic enough but for me immersing myself in the ways of the village was sufficient. A stroll to the bar for a swift press ion and watch the world go by in the clear blue sky sunshine ensured my week here left me completely relaxed and refreshed. The kids told me to say the Wifi was really good throughout all the house and this was important for them.

Les Micocouliers is the perfect French retreat. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and the villa was well equipped and very clean. It was larger than expected with plenty of living space for a large group. The pool is a good size, the grounds are lovely and the views are stunning (better than in the photos). The position is just right to explore Provence and the Côte d'Azur . Callas village centre is a only a 2 minute walk away and is easy going and friendly, with a couple of nice eateries, a good boulangerie and other local shops (and weekly market). We had a lovely week there and could have easily stayed another- I'd definitely recommend it!

Les Micocouliers has the feel of a well-loved family holiday home and has everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay (good quality linen, well-equipped kitchen, etc). The views are awesome and the location is ideal with a short walk to buy the most delicious croissants and bread from the local bakery each morning. We made full use of the good-sized pool (very clean and well-kept) and the table-tennis equipment, which was a big hit with our children. The owners' advice and information was extremely useful – they obviously love their villa, Callas and the surrounding area and want to share the pleasure of being there. A huge thank you to them for a wonderful holiday. We didn't want to leave. Highly recommended.

Our extended family - pensioners to teenager - spent two weeks here in July/August 2014. The villa is spacious, very well maintained, with comfortable bedrooms and large, cool living areas. There are lovely outside shaded spaces and terraces with superb views where we dined most evenings. The pool is large and immaculately maintained. The villa and especially the kitchen are very well-equipped. We found everything we needed to feed and entertain our party of 9.

The villa and grounds are very private despite it being just a short walk to the local village for a coffee or meal at one of the restaurants. The owners provide files of useful information and maps about activities and places to visit. The location is great - we took walks from the villa, cycle rides to some of the other hilltop villages, and day trips further afield to Gorges du Verdon and Tourtour, in addition to spending many relaxing hours by the pool.

The owners were extremely helpful throughout from offering travel advice and tips on places to stay en route to providing essential BBQ supplies for our arrival evening.

We hope to return soon and would strongly recommend this property to others.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay at Les Micocouliers.

The house itself is perfect for a family or group of friends - very spacious, bright and airy bedrooms, with a big pool, lots of outdoor space and it is in the most incredible setting. Set on the hillside, it has fantastic views from the terrace it is also only a few minutes walk down in to the village so perfect for popping to the bakery for your morning croissants, to browse the local market or to go to one of the amazing restaurants in the evening.

It was an incredibly relaxing and peaceful holiday although there are lots of activities to do nearby for the more active. A particular favourite of ours was the wine tasting at the local vineyards.

I couldn't recommend the house more and I will definitely be returning next year.

Les Micocouliers in Callas was the perfect villa for our recent stay in the South of France - 10 friends stayed for a week and the villa catered to all our needs so comfortably - we could have stayed a month! -

Days started with breakfasts of freshly baked croissant and pain au chocolat from the village bakery enjoyed from the stunning villa terrace. They were then filled with relaxing by the gorgeous (and refreshing!) pool, walks (or even some jogs!) through the beautiful local countryside, not to forget some highly competitive boules and table tennis. The odd day trip to St Tropez and the local golf course added some variety (though mostly getting anyone away from the Villa proved difficult!)

Lunches at the villa were always a highlight, lovely fresh meats, cheeses and olives from the local market with freshly baked bread from the bakery every day, all washed down with possible the best local produce of all, the rose ! There is a vineyard just a mile or so down the road which produces some fantastic local wine and a box of rose (which was our tipple of choice though the red and white were also lovely!) is delicious and incredibly good value - we even brought some home and it tastes just as good here (even if the view when drinking it doesn't quite match!)

There are some great little restaurants in the village, our favourite "Le Groupie" is very local and we had some delicious meals there. The BBQ on the terrace was also the scene of many a culinary triumph!

All in all we were very sad to leave such a beautiful spot and such a comfortable villa - we hope to be back!

Its 2 minutes from a beautiful village, however from the rear of the property you have complete privacy. The village has a village shop, bakery and wine cave and great restaurants just a minutes stroll away and a market on a saturday morning.
Our group were 4 adualts and 4 children and we all had an amazing holiday and have fallen in love with Callas. We could'nt reccommend this property highly enough.
