“Excellent villa in a super part of Spain”
Situated on a lovely urbanisation (estate) just outside Javea, this sizeable villa met our every need and exceeded all expectations. Cant believe I'm the first to review this property! We arrived early afternoon after an necessarily stressful journey. My own family together with that of a friend (4 adults and 4 children aged 8 -14). The property was spacious and comfortably slept 8 of us (with two beds to spare!). All furniture and fittings were geared towards larger families and groups with plenty of crockery, glasses, cutlery and ample seating inside and out. The pool was superb, cleaned twice a week and was surrounded by lovely planting and enough comfy loungers for all. Great patio area with big table and enough chairs for us all to dine alfresco. Big Spanish BBQ, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, Sat TV, stereo sound system etc all in good working order. Crisp clean bed linen and plenty of towels for all. The property was immaculately clean on our arrival and Keith Parrot of Javea Holidays (who manage the property!) and Wendy who checked us in and out were very helpful, friendly and provided a great service. Couldn't have asked for anything more. This villa had everything we needed and more was very well furnished and decorated and we would return without any hesitation. My only observation for those considering booking, would be that a hire car is, in my opinion, a necessity. There are a couple of supermarkets and a couple of restaurants within a 20 min walk but no pavements to walk on so wouldn't suit a young family. The main beach is approx 5-10 min drive but well worth a visit. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops and a visit to Javea 'old port' (a further 5-10 min drive along the coast) is essential to see the fishing boats arriving with their catches in the early evening. Our one big gripe? We ONLY had one week here!!!
