“Nice villa, needs updating inside and hire car is strongly advisable”

Reviewed 29 Aug 2016

Villa impressive outside area and spacious rooms. Location misleading as definitely need car unless u pay a lot for taxis which are unreliable and pricey. 3 upstairs rooms are spacious wiv comfy beds, 4th upstairs bedroom had camp like beds which were uncomfortable and noisy even for children. Downstairs other twin rooms beds also uncomfortable and very warm bedroom. Kitchen needs electric kettle aswell. Inside lounge and dining area could do wiv an update as quite dark, tired looking furniture. Outside area good although only 11 sun beds wen there were 12 of us. Overall we all enjoyed our stay but would not book this villa again as did not feel it was luxury enough and too isolated.

“One of my best holiday's ever”

Reviewed 17 Aug 2016

A great time was had by everyone in our group, from the 4 grandchildren, the young adults to those of us in our 50's. The pool was fantastic and many of us enjoyed the table tennis as well as a few nights having a BBQ. The weather was great all week. Everyday the garden was maintained and pool and surrounding area cleaned as well as the lovely plants watered. At the end of the week we had all enjoyed both a relaxing and exciting week on the lovely island of Ibiza. The only minor problems were a bad smell coming from the drains in the room with a bath and the wifi kept dropping out. The smell wasn't resolved whilst we there which put the a slightly bad mark on the holiday. Otherwise this would be a 5 star review.

“Super Fantastisch”

Reviewed 30 May 2016

Response from the manager Thank you so much for your lovely review and we are so pleased that you enjoyed staying at Villa Tino. We would love to welcome you back to the villa in the future. Many thanks.

“Villa Tino: Excellent but..”

Reviewed 5 Oct 2015

Villa Tino is without doubt a lovely villa and stands up to its basic published descriptions and Photos and perhaps the photos can’t fully do it justice. The outside areas of veranda and separate barbeque area are excellent, with the central pool and lovely beautifully kept gardens with fruit and banana trees (with bananas). There is also masses of parking with a garage and with a remote controlled access door to the road. The veranda is unfortunately built approx. 300mm higher than the patio/pool area and whilst the rim of the pool is non-slip the patio area round the pool is not and therefore slippery when wet. With 3 children under the age of 3 this meant constant vigilance to stop them running on the wet patio and making sure they do not fall off the veranda. Inside the layout of the rooms is very good with large spacious bedrooms with 4 of the six bedrooms having really excellent air conditioning, not so good if all rooms are needed! The living areas are more than adequate with a good washing facilities room and ok kitchen. The villa is as stated close to Ibiza town and the shops/café etc of Jesus are just down the road. All easy by car but to walk to the shops is a bit dangerous as there are parts with no pavement and the road is very busy. The reason for the 4 star rating rather than 5 is the following: The Wifi was out of order for the whole week and whilst the problem was found on the day we left this should have been known and fixed before we arrived. This is relied on now for maps, translations, restaurants etc etc and considerable costs were accrued by having to use mobile data. The Pizza oven could not be used which was a big disappointment as it was this and the Wifi that finalised our choice of the villa. There was no working DVD (fixed approx. mid week) which was required for the children to sometimes keep them out of the sun and to rest to when required. The dishwasher did not wash anything like adequately. The coffee maker did not work (new one supplied after informing the rep. approx. mid week) and the oven requires better instructions to prevent all the waste of time trying to get it off auto to allow manual control. All a shame being necessary to report. Confidence in the security of deposit transfer was considered a possible problem for the 1st time rental so PayPal was used at extra cost but this would not be necessary for future booking. I would still highly recommend the villa but would suggest confirmation in writing is given that any facilities that are specifically required will be available.

Response from the manager Dear Guest, Apologies for the late response - we must have missed your review, our apologies. Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry for the trouble you experienced with the Wifi and that this was not fixed until your last day. We did try our very best to fix this earlier for you, and were in touch with the internet company and the local technician every day, however this just wasn't possible. Our apologies for the inconvenience this caused for the group, as we understand having internet access does make holidays and planning your day much easier. We are pleased to confirm the DVD player and the coffee machine were replaced within 24 hours of being informed they were not working. We have taken onboard your comments regarding the instructions for the oven not being adequate, and will look at these for next season. Thank you again for your comments and feedback. We hope to welcome you to Ibiza again one day, so we can improve your experience with us. Kind regards, Ibiza Summer Villas management.

“Fantastic villa”

Beautiful villa, modern and spacious with a fantastic pool and garden area. There were 12 of us - we fitted in brilliantly - lots of different areas to chill out in. BBQ and table tennis a massive plus. Really secure, and handy for town of Jesus. Ibiza town a short and cheap taxi ride away. Tash met us and gave us an excellent tour of the villa - really attentive & set us up nicely for our week in the sun...thank you! We'll be back...!

Response from the manager Lovely to hear that you had such a lovely stay - thank you for your kind comments. We will ensure that they are passed onto the rest of the team :-)

“Excellent location and lovely villa”

Reviewed 21 Sep 2015

Our group really enjoyed staying here and would definitely like to book this villa for our next trip to Ibiza. It was well set up with excellent BBQ facilities, comfy beds and plenty of room. Georgina was really good with getting our booking sorted and gave us plenty of information, as did Iris who was so welcoming and looked after us very well, she even gave us a gift as I mentioned it was my birthday and she made sure we had everything we needed. The gardener has made the grounds beautiful and even cleans the bbq in the morning so we were very impressed. The only issue we had was security, due to a few robberies on the Island recently everyone needs to take extra care to lock up as we had someone come in while we were all out the back having a bbq - not much was taken and we had no further problems, Iris came round straight away to make sure we were fine. The location is perfect for Ibiza Town and just a short walk to Jesus which has great little cafés bars and restaurants.

Response from the manager Thank you for your kind review on Villa Tino. I am so pleased that Iris was helpful to you and made sure you were at ease with the whole situation. We hope that this doesn't put you off for any future visits. :-)

“Amazing villa!”

We are delighted to stay at this villa. Both Iris and Georgina were fantastic and gracious hosts. They were welcoming (plus hello gifts) and available anytime we needed local knowledge. The pool and BBQ area is divine. Sleeps so many people and it's spacious and well equipped for home dining and lazy pool days.

Response from the manager We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay in the villa. Your kind words will be passed onto the rest of the team. Thank you :-)

“Amazing beautiful villa!!”

Reviewed 17 Aug 2015

First time for a group of us in Ibiza so finding place was a little difficult given the vast range of options but I think we hit the jackpot with this one! Jaw dropping "wow factor" first impressions and we were all very excited about the place when we arrived and were shown around. It's a beautiful traditional style home with plenty of space both inside and outside, the place has been very well maintained, clean, very well equipped and is located in Jesus which is not far from Ibiza town and is away from the San Antonio side. Iris was a great host who showed us around and explained everything to us about the villa and how everything worked and where everything was and was available to help at all times. Georgina was great in the booming process and very responsive. Overall, this place has made our first experience in Ibiza a hugely memorable one and we will definitely be back!!

Response from the manager Thank you so much for your kind words. It's lovely when we receive such great feedback on our villa and also our team. I will of course ensure that your thoughts are passed onto our team. :-)

“Jackpot”

Reviewed 22 Jul 2015

We really feel like we hit the jackpot with this place. Throughout the booking process, everyone was so helpful. It seemed too good to be true; I was expecting to get to Ibiza and find that the place didn't exist. We arrived quite late at night and the owners/agents couldn't bear the thought of us arriving without any food in so they gave us a little welcome pack to keep us going until we could get to the shops. Very thoughtful. They were very thorough and the deposit was dealt with carefully and fairly. We were shown around and couldn't believe how big, clean and lovely the property was. We almost didn't want to leave the villa to go out at all - it felt like we had everything we needed! The pool and garden were cleaned daily and kept in a lovely condition. There was just one horrible part to our stay, and that's that we were burgled. It seems ridiculous because a) there's an electronic gate and b) two of the girls we were with went round the house twice to check the locks before we went out, so we have no idea how it happened. Luckily, because of the number of sensors, the burglars only got into two rooms and it was right at the end of our stay when we didn't have much worth stealing! But we did advise the owners to get sensors in those last two rooms. Iris was kind enough to go with us to the police station which was so kind of her. They really couldn't have done much more. We only mention it because we felt so safe here that it would have been really easy to get complacent - PLEASE put the burglar alarm on and PLEASE lock up everything. But you'll see that despite that event, we still loved the villa and I'd still recommend it to anyone going to Ibiza. Just be wary of taxi drivers; even at the more reputable companies which we always used, make sure it looks like someone is home (perhaps a few lights on wouldn't have gone amiss) and don't all stand outside making it obvious that no one is in. Please don't let that put you off the villa in any way - I just want to make sure you have a great trip too. This can happen anywhere and it's really rare in this area. Overall, an amazing holiday which was mostly down to the great place we stayed!

Response from the manager Thank you for your comments on your stay at Villa Tino. We were sorry to learn of the misfortune that happened during your holiday and can assure you that this was an isolated incident. I am pleased it didn't deter from the enjoyment of your holiday and the villa. We hope to welcome you back in the future :-)

“Simply Fantastic”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2015

This place is fantastic. beginning with the booking process, Georgina was great, she kept me updated throughout the whole process, nothing was too much trouble. Iris was on time when we arrived at the villa and booking in was seamless. The villa is all that is described in the notes and photos AND SOME!!! We were spoilt coming here and even when there was a couple of issues (which we were not aware of, but the guy that cleans the barbeque and waters the plants noticed!!!) and we were not disturbed! I cannot recommend the Villa AND Ibiza Summer Villas too highly and would gladly use them again

Response from the manager Thank you for commenting on your stay at Villa Tino. It is always so lovely to hear such positivity from our clients. I will certainly pass your comments onto the rest of the team. We hope to welcome you back soon to Ibiza very soon :-)
