“A Villa that does not live up to expectations”
We stayed at Villa Andreas in June 2015 and on our arrival we found the cleanliness of the Villa was very poor in fact we spent the first day of the holiday cleaning all the bathrooms and when we complained it was dismissed as just dust but we pointed out that it was more than that when we found mould and hairs in most of the bathrooms. Also not all the bathrooms had soap and toilet paper which should be a minimum requirementt on a rental like this. The Villa it's self is not a true representation of the pictures shown and how it is described as we found things looking old and worn and some of the facilities did not work. The water in the pool was cold and not enjoyable to use so we asked could we have the heating on but was told no it is broken. The claim of WI-FI is a joke because it was almost impossible to connect to the internet and when it was mentioned we were told that it depends on all the other villas using it so limited to say the least. Another frustration was the claim of sky TV but again that was hit and miss due to the signal dropping out and having the to re-boot the TV everyday. However the biggest frustration was not being able to use the outside dinning area as after 5.00pm the place became invested with mosquitoes and quite literally we were very badly bitten so we limited our time outside or had to cover ourselves in mosquito repellent to protect us and the children. Overall I would not recommend this villa to families as it is not safe for small children especially around pool as it is too deep and has no easy access in or out and there are no safety gates on the stairs to the different levels at the villa. Javea is a lovely place for a holiday and we all enjoyed our time their but unfortunately it could have been exceptional holiday had the villa lived up to our expectations
