In a residential location a 10 euro taxi ride to the beach which was as I expected.I did expect a bar and or restaurant to be walking distance though. It is obvious that the owner is out of touch with the expectations and standards required by people who rent "luxury" villas. Although the property is very nice and the outside/pool area is spacious, there are deficiencies in every area. The house is sparsely furnished with cheap pine furniture, the kitchen is in need of a face lift and the electrical equipment is "tired".The appearance of the fridge freezer sets the tone. Disfigured and held together with duct tape! One of the hair driers is old and tacky to the touch and the towel rails are rusty. Chipped plates and cups even a knife with the handle chewed (presumably by a dog). I could go on but perhaps I have made my point. I am surprised and disappointed that the agent has not noted these obvious deficiencies and encouraged the owner to spend some money to bring it up to standard.
