The villa is absolutely beautiful and is perfectly positioned to get the sun all day long. The pool was a real highlight; we stayed at the end of August and the temperature was spot-on, with no heating required. It’s also plenty big enough to have a ‘proper’ swim.
All rooms were very spacious and there was plenty of hot water when needed. The villa was full of practical features; for example, the large windows at the side of the veranda enabled us to stay outside when the wind was up a little one night. Also, there was plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses, a small point but one which made things so easy. The wi-fi worked very well – we have stayed at other locations where it has been temperamental. The villa lacked for absolutely nothing and everything that was provided was of a very high quality. We really could not have faulted the whole place, in fact, the only thing we could think of that was missing was a suction hook to hang a dish towel on so we went and got one!
We used the barbeque every night, it was lovely to cook fresh food and sit with a glass of local rose wine, watching the sun go down.
A large supermarket was only a short drive away and had plenty of fresh produce (the bread and fish counter were particularly good). Although we didn’t spend much time in the local town, we did go down on market day to get a few gifts and fresh food. All was very pleasant.
We had such a lovely time and are likely to use again.
