Under the law 7/2001 of 23 April, and under the articles 133.2, 156 and 157.1b) of the Spanish Constitution, 58 and 61 of the Statute of autonomy of the Balearic Islands, and 2 and 6 of the Organic Law  8/1980, of 22 September, financing of the autonomous communities, autonomous region of the Illes Balears was established to charge to holiday-makers  at their arrival to the hotel or private property the ECO-TAX  destined to improvements of tourist activity and the preservation of thel environment.
This Tax is set for all the customers according to the days of stay, being exempt minors aged 16. Adults 1 € per day
