“Amazing Villa”

Reviewed 3 Sep 2015

I stayed in this villa with a group of family and friends, all adults and we were very impressed with the villa. I was hoping that the reality would live up to the pictures, but I would say that it was better than the photos. There are 3 double bedrooms and a twin room all en-suite and another twin room which is not. All very comfortable. The pool area is great, the sun beds are super comfortable and although most of the area is in the sun all day, there is a sheltered area where you can sit to stay out of the sun. The air con works very well as does the wifi. There is a TV and DVD player also for use. The kitchen is very well equipped and we used this a lot during our stay along with the BBQ. The only slight negative I could think of is that I would have found it useful to have a mirror in the bedroom, rather than have to use the one in the bathroom. The villa is very well maintained by Santiago who was very helpful both in the run up to our stay and also when we were there. You can walk from the villa to the supermarket, some bars and restaurants and to a small beach. Otherwise Palma is a short car journey away as are many other beaches. (We didn't hire a car and used taxi's which weren't expensive - we'd walk to Mojos in Cas Catala for a drink and they'd kindly order us one). I would definitely recommend this villa and have already to a friend. We didn't want to leave!

“Lovely spacious and modern villa, perfect for a family of 9”

We were a family of 9 (2 children of 4 years old) and had a wonderful time. The villa was perfect (there were a few teething problems such as the electric going off - but this was down to us overloading it by turning on all the air con at once! And the owner was brilliant and helped us with anything we needed as he was always on hand with a telephone call). The villa has 4 ensuite bedrooms (the showers perhaps could do with updating). It was lovely stepping outside the patio doors to our pool - lovely and warm. There was plenty of space to sit outside and in. We had full use of a great bbq and sat at the table with a view of the sea where we watched the small and big ships come and go to Palma. The location might not be perfect for some as it was very steep to walk from the villa to the beach and the few restaurants. The walk was only small though and well worth it for the gorgeous little beach. It had a lovely beach restaurant where we ate a number of times and the food was lovely. There is a very nice hotel called the Maricel where we stopped to have a lunchtime drink - yummy cocktails but you do pay for it - still worth it for the view and the luxury! There is a very handy shop just at the bottom of the hill ( 1 minute away) which sells almost everything you can imagine - very handy! The weather was beautiful - thank goodness for the air conditioning though! I think a car would be useful but not necessary if you are able bodied and don't mind walking to the supermarket about 10 minutes away. Palma is beautiful well worth a visit - but maybe go in a taxi rather than suffer the torture of a non air conditioned bus in 38 degree heat (buy a cheap Spanish fan - the best way to cool dow) Overall a lovely holiday we didn't want to leave made even better by a very helpful owner who was always on hand (but without being intrusive). Santiago - just a thought - a manual of how to operate the TV, DVD etc and which restaurants to go to might worth considering for future guests.

“Highly recommended!”

The house is big, comfortable and well located (pretty close to Palma, but in a quiet zone, few minutes to the nearest beach and 20 min walk to the very nice Illetas). There is a private bathroom next to each bedroom, huge kitchen and great pool area. The owners are really helpful - did some shopping for us as we were arriving on May 1st when most shops were closed. Baby cot and chair wasn't a problem. Welcome champaigne was waitning for us as well:-)
