The four fabs above represent how we felt about the four weeks we spent staying at Villa Maria. From the moment we arrived on our very first night the place like home. My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our whole stay at the Villa and so did our family and friends who visited us over the same period. The place is so well equipped with everything you need for your holiday away from home. The Villa is roomy and spacious even when you have a full house staying. It’s spotlessly clean and very well maintained by the management company who look after everything. On arrival we were greeted with a lovely big bowl of fresh fruit, a red and white bottle of wine, a bottle of water and milk. The place is so relaxed and chilled out, that I actually could not remember my internet bank ID number for the life of me, because I had become so relaxed and chilled. The place is so peaceful and only a short walk away to the lovely local little beach where you can feel the sea breeze blow gently through your hair. We totally lost track of time which to me is what a holiday should all be about. This was our first holiday in a rented Villa and I find it difficult to believe how another place like it could be any better. Cala Murada is out of the way and relatively unspoilt, but not too much out of the way, it’s a lovely pretty little village with some really nice little bars and restaurants scattered around the village. The population is mainly German and the locals of course, but they do make you feel so welcome. The big mistake we made was to not hire a car however, this was no big deal because the local taxi service run by a lady called Alicia is brilliant and she speaks perfect English. The local bus service is very good too and easy to get around with. We left the bus timetables for any future guests to use. I could go on and on about this place it was such a great holiday, so if you are reading this and thinking about a Villa holiday make your booking before its too late. Finally, a word on the owner (John), each time I contacted the owner with a question or query he came back to me with a response very quickly and answered all my questions. Get in there before this place becomes over developed, you will not be dis-appointed. Thank you John for a fantastic holiday and I only wish the place belonged to me.

This was the 2nd year in a row that the Bartletts and the Cookes spent their summer holidays at Villa Maria. Somehow this year was even better. The weather was incredible. Villa Maria is stunning, it's in the perfect location if you want a family holiday, away from built up tourist areas but close enough to a gorgeous beach and local shops. The owner, John, goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. I cannot fault a thing about Villa Maria and we look forward to returning for a 3rd time in the near future. There's no where else we'd rather go!!! Perfect.

The villa is just as advertised - it is truly lovely! Having a wonderful time, really well equipped and the pool and hot tub have seen lots of action. Whilst not essential, if recommend hiring a car to get around a bit - non issues with the villa at all (would rebook in a heartbeat) but the local supermarkets are a bit limited and expensive - nearest large supermarket is a drive away ( £15 in a taxi). The villa is awesome and Cala Murada is a lively quiet resort - out holiday has been 10/10 so far :)

Lovely stay at you beautiful villa. Felt very homey and they very kindly welcomed us with a some wine and fruit and left us things for tea and coffee. Rooms are very cosy and air con works well. Master bedroom is especially nice! We enjoyed breakfasts and Sangria on the balcony in the sun and made very good use of the hot tub and sun loungers. We had a slight problem with the hot tub but some one came to sort it within half an hour. There was a shop and restaurant just 50m away and a beach 200m away although the beach at Cala domingos was a bit prettier and cleaner and only a 15-30min walk. Cala murada did seem quite quiet although we are late in the season but nice for a relaxing holiday. Thank you very much, we hope to some again!

Villa Maria is a stunning villa in a fantastic location. This was our first big family holiday together in a villa and we didn't know what to expect but the villa exceeded our expectations! The villa is extremely clean and very well facilitated. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and the beds were very comfortable. The swimming pool is just the right size and there are plenty of sun beds for everyone to use! All equipment in the villa is of a high standard and modern. There is a SPAR shop about a 3 minute walk away which supplies the everyday basics and fresh bread and pastries. For the big shop you can get a taxi to a large supermarket about 20 mins away. The beach is superb, it's a good size for a small resort and only a 10 minute walk away. It's very clean and always a lifeguard around. There is also a large restaurant/bar right on the edge of the beach which provides a great lunch and dinner! We enjoyed it so much we have re-booked Villa Maria for next year 1 day after getting home.....but this time for longer :-) The owner provides an excellent service and is very good with communication when needed. Looking forward to going back in a year!!!

m My family had a great time in the villa this August. . It was terrific .The location is ideal, close to beautiful beaches and local restaurants. (dont eat at the the "beech" restaurant). The pool and the jacuzzi were a treat. Inside tha villa is extremely well fitted and in excellent condition.. Yvonne has created an ideal holiday situation and obviously put a lot of careful thought into it. We all six og us loved it .

We stayed at Villa Maria, with another couple and their two young children. The owner provided instructions that even my wife could follow, and in approx. half an hour we made the journey from Palma Airport to the villa. Located in a beautiful area, just minutes from the beach and backing on to woodland, the villa and garden area, felt very private and secluded. We were expecting a good standard of accommodation, but the photos do not reflect how nice the villa actually is. The whole place was spotlessly clean, well decorated and appointed, and the kitchen (which is huge compared to the picture on the website) had everything we could possible need to cater for the whole group. The double bedrooms were very large indeed (especially the one upstairs), and tastefully decorated. The garden and pool area, are great, a real sun trap, with plenty of room for relaxing in the sun, as well as a very large under balcony area, great for sitting in the shade, and dining. If, like us, you were worried about the size of the pool (the picture on the website makes it look small) DO NOT WORRY! The pool is as big as any I have ever had in a rental villa, and plenty big enough for both adult swimming and for the kids to play in. There is also a large hot tub, although we didn’t use it much as the weather was so hot. The next bay along is called Callas De Mallorca (about five minutes’ drive) which is more commercialised but provided a couple of fun afternoons out for the kids, and a Chinese takeaway that delivered to the house! Although we did cook most nights, the beach restaurant was great, and if you get the chance I would recommend the restaurant at the nearby Val Dor golf course, which is open to everyone and has absolutely stunning views across the Island from the outdoor dining terrace. The beach is great, with stunning clear blue water, and there was a lifeguard on duty every day during our stay. John the owner was really helpful, and quick to respond to our e mails, both when booking, and giving advice prior to our trip. He said he would be on hand at all times during our stay, but we had no problems, so didn’t need to contact him, other than to say thank you once we got back to the UK. I will definitely be booking to stay again next year, and would recommend this villa to anyone.

We have stayed here on several occasions it is well equipped and spacious, everything we needed for a relaxing comfortable holiday. The kitchen is clean and well appointed and leads out on to the patio area with amazing dining space, which was great for us as we like to eat alfresco. There is a lovely pool and jacuzzi, with lots of seating & sun beds and you could relax in the shade on the terrace if you needed to escape the sun. Restaurants and beach are in walking distance, the sea is beautiful & clear for swimming with a very convenient beach bar. We hired a car to explore the area and a visit to a local market is a must. We did a long coastal walk which crossed beaches, on good footpaths & quiet roads, it was easy to get a taxi back to the villa. There is also a walk which we did late afternoon when it was cooler behind the villa across a conservation area, slightly uneven terrain, we ended up in a pretty fishing village with great restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it, we will definitely look forward to coming back.

This was a holiday for a mixed family group. We found Villa Maria to be very clean and well appointed with plenty of space and everything we needed for a relaxing self catering holiday. I have stayed in self catering accommodation where the “facilities” were very basic this certainly wasn’t the case with Villa Maria. There has obviously been care taken in choosing all the appliances and furnishings, whilst at the same time making it “homely” and comfortable. Outside there is a lovely patio area with a large table and chairs for al fresco meals and a reasonably sized pool and hot tub. It is in a fairly quiet area but within reach of shops and restaurants. We had a very enjoyable time there with no complaints whatsoever.
