Very happy with our stay at this villa. Everything as expected and as advertised, the pictures provided are true to life. We would stay here again Slight niggle was that the dish washer broke on the Thursday so rang management company and they had someone out within an hour which was great but the machine couldn't be fixed so had to wash up for the rest of the week which was a chore I was expecting to have left at home for the week Positives - great aircon throughout the villa, great pool and great location near to marina and main strip I would comment that there were only 4 of us and there was more than enough room inside and out however I may well feel cramped if there were 6-8 people staying.

Just got home from our stay at villa Paraiso . We had a fantastic time. Walking distance to shops, Cala do'r centre, restaurants , harbour & the beach. Villa was very nice with all that you need. Pool was great fun for everyone, made use of the BBQ, using meat from the local friendly butchers. We had breakfast at schooner, a British couple run it, very friendly & great with kids. The older kids were able to go clubbing in Cala do'r unit early hours, the villa was far away enough for us to not hear it. As with other comments the hairdryer was broken, but we took one with us. Also on a negative side Lights in the pool didn't work & 1slab of stone on far side of pool was loose, I did cut my foot on it, but it could have been worse.

Spacious clean villa with all amenities as advertised, lovely shaded areas by pool for eating. Welcome pack on arrival would have been appreciated as flight arrived in the evening. Problem with pool filter took a few days to repair and hairdryer that was already broken on arrival not replaced. Very relaxing surroundings and would recommend.

We are a family with older children and this was perfect for our stay, located in a cul de sac meant there was no passing traffic noise, 5 mins walk from the Marina, 10 mins walk from the town centre and 15 mins from the beach makes it a great location. For us what made our holiday was the outside space, a large pool which was well looked after during our stay in a private rear garden. There is a large table big enough for all the family to sit round and enjoy alfresco dinning. There were only 5 sun beds which did cause a few problems, it might be an idea for the owners to provide a further 3. The villa was ready when we arrived which was a bonus. The bedrooms were a good size and matched our requirements perfectly, the master is great and feels very separate from the others. The downstairs living areas are of a good size and we did not feel that we were all squeezed in. The villa was not cleaned during our stay but we were able to wash towels ect in the washing machine. I would recommend staying at this villa purely for the space and location.

We have just returned from our two week holiday staying at Villa Paraiso. Everything was just great, the rooms, the kitchen, the bathrooms all superb. The outside area was also great with a lovely large pool. The pool was cleaned everyday by the English maintenance man. The location is ideal, five minute walk to the shops and bars and two minute walk to the harbour. Highly recommend this villa and holidaylettings.co.uk. The villa was cleaned after one week, with new bedding and towels provided. There are also fixed stair gates at the top and bottom which was very helpful for our 3 year old boy. The weather was hot and air conditioning really helped especially sleeping at night! There is plenty of room for everyone even if you fill the villa. Great villa, go ahead and book it!

We enjoyed a two week holiday at Villa Paraiso with another family this summer and loved every minute of it! The villa is spacious and well equipped with everything from an American style f/f to hold all the beer, to BBC channels, ideal for the kids watching cbeebies in the midday sun and for following the Olympics on the BBC (an unexpected bonus!) Previous reviews mentioned that the villa wasn't very clean, but I e-mailed the agents before we went (as I hygiene a clean freak) and they ensured that the place was perfectly clean when we arrived. The agents were also very helpful in resort; one of the A/C units wasn't working properly on arrival, but the engineer arrived the next morning to fix it following a quick phone call to Nicole in the local office. The location is perfect; the town centre is about a 5 minute stroll, as is the small Cala d'or beach and the marina is even closer. The larger beach of Cala Gran is slightly further away, but still walkable in less then 10 minutes, even with very small children. Overall, I cannot fault this villa and we would definately return.

We have just returned from a week at the Villa Paraiso and liked it that much we have booked up again for next year. We travelled as a family with toddlers and grandparents, the villa facilities were as described on the website and were perfect for all the guests. The living accommodation is spacious, however with two pre-schoolers we spent the majority of our time in the pool, which was very clean and more convenient having steps rather than a ladder. The villa has the advantage of having air conditioning in the open plan lounge area and all the bedrooms. The location of the Villa was perfect for strolling round the marina which was 2 minutes walk and less than 5 minutes walk into the main pedestrianised area of Cala d'Or, where all the bars and restaurants are. Cala Gran beach again is only a 5 minute walk and probably the nicest cove that we visited, however, I would recommend arriving early as the beach does get very busy. At the end of the road from the villa is a cafe bar - "schooners", ran by a really nice couple who are open for drinks and food throughout the day. There was no need to hire a car with the villa and we used Roig from Palma airport on a private transfer and we intend to use them again next year, it cost 110 euros each way, which worked out alot cheaper than hiring a car. When going food shopping the nearest supermarket is the spar (within walking distance, there are about 3), however, more choice is available at the Eroski, which is just a short taxi ride away. In summary, we had a lovely week at the villa and can't wait to return!

villa Paraiso is in a great location of cala d'or, Situated between both the Marina and the town and its restaurants and the beaches. The villa has beautiful surroundings an excellent out door patio area and a good sized pool, with sun until evening. A gated entrance which is self locking allows a secure feeling whilst in the back. Very peaceful even though there are surrounding villas. The Villa itself is very well equipped in the kitchen and washroom. a good sized living area complete with books and dvd etc to fill you stay. A Very spacious entrance hall for us to store the pushchair. The bedrooms are all a good size and plenty of bathrooms, Stair gates could be fitted if need be as the stairs are a little daunting for toddlers. My only recommendation would be for it to be deep cleaned, as it was very dusty and dirty in the corners and under beds etc.
