“Superb pool, villa location perfect for variety of amenities”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2016

A very happy return to this villa which always ticks all the right boxes for our group of four friends. Plenty of internal space with a lovely bright kitchen equipped with just enough plates, cutlery etc. to service a large party of people. Air con in bedrooms worked well in the sweltering conditions... Outside pergola with seating perfect for much needed shade, evening drinks and the BEST view of sunrise above El Portet across the bay. Great BBQ and eating area , nice & peaceful as no immediate neighbours and set close to attractive, well-established fruit trees - lemon, fig, orange and olive. Gorgeous pool in tip top condition (thanks Steve the pool man!) and well used throughout the day/evening. Small rocky cove suitable for sea swimming easily accessible and near the fabulous Algas bar which does a mean (but not expensive) breakfast. Great too for cocktails. Good variety of restaurants within short walking distance but car transport probably needed for nearby Moraira with its lovely sandy town beach, extensive shopping and cafes. Overall, a totally relaxing week in one of our favourite locations - hope to return next year!

“Great views, very relaxing”

A return visit to the villa, that met all our expectations. The villa was spotlessly clean and DiDi was extremely welcoming and helpful. The outside L-shaped sofa is a joy to sit comfortably with a glass of wine and enjoy the views. The villa is beautifully located so that it is just a few minutes' walk from the sea and restaurants/bars, but elevated so that it has amazing views - a perfect combination. We had breakfast at Algas Bar overlooking the sea on several mornings (after a swim in the sea) and a cocktail or two there later in the day. Wish I was still there!

“Glorious views from the Terrace”

Seven of us from five years to sixty five absolutely loved our time here. The villa's location is brilliant. It's within walking distance of town, restaurants, beach and supermarket. The interior is beautifully furnished and when we had a problem with the drains it was sorted immediately with no drama.

“Fantastic view,Awesome Villa that needs some TLC.”

Reviewed 3 Sep 2016

Fantastic view, villa was spacious, well located, gardens & pool well kept.Inside the villa needed some TLC as lower shower room was not in proper use as showerhead was not attached to wall & wasn't the cleanest & the toilet was leaking & started to smell. The shower in the tower bedroom/en suite wasn't thoroughly cleaned & balcony to this floor hadn't been cleaned, sunbeds looking tired. The kitchen & its utensils hadn't been cleaned properly,we had to re wash all knives & forks/pots n pans, dishes etc inc the sink. Our bedding was changed after the first week but not our towels which we had to wash ourselves. The microwave had to be replaced mid first week, and was replaced promptly by Didi & also the dishwasher was playing up,which we found to be it not being cleaned/maintained properly & so cleaned better once we strapped it down.Outside around pool area was clean & gardens well maintained but sun loungers were looking tired & dirty. But all in all we had a great holiday, its a great location, lovely quiet village with plenty to walk to.Fran who dealt with our booking couldn't have been more helpful with our needs all along the way. Thank you Fran. Would definitely recommend this area a its beautiful. The photos on the holiday lettings website are out of date & so differ from actual property.I would recommend this villa if these things were addressed as the location & view are stunning.

“Another wonderful holiday”

This beautiful villa is an easy drive from Alicante airport. It is set over three floors and is really spacious with up-to-date and well maintained facilities. The views are spectacular and there is plenty of sunbathing area in the sun and in the shade. A clever improvement since last year has been that the "naya" is now "al fresco", perfect for meals outside but out of the heat of the sun. Although I could happily have spent the whole week by the lovely pool, it is worth exploring the area, especially Moraira which is a charming and non-touristy small town with quaint narrow streets, boutiques, harbour side fish restaurants and a marina. We went to the Friday market and then had a coffee in the sunshine at one of the coffee shops. There is also a market on Saturdays at Benissa which is a Medieval town and worth a visit. We also discovered a great pottery shop on the road to Calpe. El Portet is a must for its sandy beach and restaurant. We really loved this villa and the surrounding area and will be going back!

“Beautiful villa and unbeatable location!”

Reviewed 4 Jul 2015

This was our second stay at the villa (we stayed last year and had such a fab time that we booked again for this year) and this year was even better! The location is unbeatable as you can walk to the beach, town and plenty of lovely restaurants, bars and shops and the supermarket is a 2 minute drive (or 10 minute walk) away. We loved the villa last year as it is spacious with a fabulous pool and since last year the owner has made quite a few changes which has made the villa even more lovely! There is now an open shaded area with dining table to eat by the pool any time of day or night and all the bedrooms have been redecorated with new linen. Thank you for a lovely week and we would highly recommend the villa for a relaxing holiday!!

Response from the owner Thank you for your time taken to write such a fantastic review. Really pleased you appreciated the improvements and more is planned for 2016! Thank you again, Charles, Didi and Fran

“A beautiful villa”

There is a feeling of spaciousness as soon as you walk in the front door and see the split level sitting room with large comfy sofa and dining area. There is another large dining table in the conservatory/naia which opens onto the pool and garden. The five bedrooms are a good size with lots of storage. There is a wonderful first floor turret bedroom with ensuite bathroom and large balcony, complete with sun loungers and brilliant view. Plenty of car parking space round the back of the property. The garden surrounds the property and is very well maintained. Local restaurants within easy walking distance and Moraira is walkable or only 5 minutes by car with its chic boutiques and pretty marina. El Portet has a café beside the sandy beach which is a great place for a coffee after a swim.

Response from the owner Thank you very much for your review we are really pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the near future....

“Perfect villa in a great location”

A beautifully maintained villa that we just didn't want to leave at the end of the week. In large grounds, with beautiful views, we sat many mornings with a cup of coffee on the terrace watching the sun rise behind the hill at El Portet, spent the day enjoying the pool and gardens before watching the sun set from the wonderfully elevated position of the villa. Every morning we walked less than 5 mins to the beach to snorkel amongst the fish before a delicious coffee at the beach bar and then brought pastries from the little Austrian cafe back to the villa. A favourite outing was to the nearby little village of El Portet to swim and eat tapas at the beach cafes, and also to eat at Chamizo, a charming restaurant overlooking the sea that is less than 10 minutes' walk from the villa (you'll need to book!). Spoilt for choice with many restaurants within easy walking distance - can't be bad! But also loved cooking at the villa, which has a large, well-equipped and modern semi-circular kitchen. The BBQ area faces west and is a delight for al fresco meals. I could carry on and on - but recommend highly that you visit it yourself to discover more. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

Response from the owner Thank you for taking the time to review Villa Alessandra Luisa. We are delighted you enjoyed your time in Moraira and hope you will come back and see us again soon

“Great villa, fab location!”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2014

We stayed here in July with friends. The villa was lovely, very spacious with a huge living area, comfy beds (with good pillows) and plenty of bathrooms for us all. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that you could need and there was the option of both a gas or coal barbecue. The location of the villa is couldn't be better - we were able to walk to Algas beach bar and local restaurants just down the road and walked into Moraira one evening down the coastal path for dinner. A large supermarket is also a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk away. There are beautiful views of the sea from around the pool (our favourite bit!) and overall we had a really relaxing week in the sunshine!

Response from the owner Thank you very much for your review. The villa's situation speaks for itself but it is especially gratifying that you noticed the efforts that have gone in to make the villa as comfortable and inviting as possible. More will be done this year and whilst we cannot improve on the views and setting we hope if you come back next year you will enjoy your stay even more. Kind Regards, Didi and Fran

“Great holiday”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2014

We spent a week in this lovely villa. The pool was fantastic and the views were amazing. We really appreciated the variety of cooking options available (kitchen hob and oven, coal or gas BBQ and even a pizza oven). There were also options of eating in multiple locations depending on the time of day and the location of the sunset which really worked for us. There was plenty of space for everyone, and more importantly, plenty of bathrooms. The bedrooms had everything you could want in a villa and the kitchen was well equipped. Overall we had a great time here and would love to visit again.

Response from the owner Thank you very much for your kind words. We always know that our guests will not be disappointed with the views and location but it is also very important that the villa is a great place to stay so thank you for that recognition. It would be a pleasure to see you back next year. Kind Regards
