The house is really very lovely, airy, and great for a big group (we were a party of 10), it is so well positioned and very easy to find. Our stay was marred a little by the house owners sheep escaping from their field two nights in a row and tramping all over the garden, pool area, vegetable garden and terrace - 2 sleepless nights from bells and sheep calling to their lambs and the inevitable detritus left behind. But the fence was mended by the owner and there were no recurrances. The owner 'visited' at least once per day (it felt very uncomfortable to see him wandering around the garden and fields - open to the house - very 'big brother') and he spent time with his animals and in his vegetable garden - right next to the pool, so although we chose this house for the privacy-offering outside space described in the details, there is in fact very little privacy, and when the owner chose to use his tractor in the middle of the afternoon on the veg garden, there was no consultation, just a loud mechanical din. But aside from him, the holiday was faultless. I hope he finds a way of agreeing with future guests when his visits will be and for how long, so that holiday-makers have the choice to be somewhere else whilst he's there.
