As a family of five, with three young children, this place was perfect for us. We spent most of our time in or around the pool. There is plenty of shade, and many spaces for relaxing and dining. The property is clean and very well maintained, albeit slightly dated in furnishings - but in many ways that adds to its charm. The only issue we had was a problem with the dishwasher, but that was quickly resolved by the Mallorca Farmhouses team - so top marks to them! The location is perfect - Porto Preto has a lovely harbour with some wonderful restaurants overlooking it - much more character than the very glitzy Cala D'Or harbour just along the coast. All things considered, the perfect stay in Mallorca.

We stayed in Casa Baskings for 5 days in June and I fell in love with the place. A couple of minutes’ walk to the port you will find some really lovely chilled out bars and restaurants where you can have a drink and a bite to eat overlooking the harbour. We went to Varadero for dinner a couple of times and it was lovely. Great setting and amazing cocktails! If you go, you must visit Playa Mondrago a couple of miles from the villa, and take a swim in the turquoise sea. It’s beautiful.
