“Mallorcan Hospitality At Its Best”

Reviewed 1 Nov 2017

Our second stay at Ses Cases Noves. We just new we would return. We cannot wait to book again. The owner family, Miguel Bunola, wife Mrs Bunola (cannot remember her name so sorry) & Daughter Aina are the most accommodating/welcoming/hospitable family. They are just so lovely. Anyway, the villa.....Ooooh so good. 10 of us stayed. It seemed like just 5 of us were staying. There is so much room. The Bunola's were there to meet us on arrival with fresh rations provided. We did not need the local supermarket immediately, fantastic. Again on arrival the villa/pool/gardens were immaculately clean on arrival. Not a leaf/insect/seed to be seen in the oh so large pool. It is not heated, so what in October - 24C!. Salt water (added by Miguel). No issues.. All the art inside the villa is of local subjects, intriguing/fascinating, & lots of it. Maria is a typical Mallorcan town. So nice to stroll around or just view from the fantastic villa roof terrace. Two supermarkets, their prices match those of Palma city. A tapas bar & restaurant owned & run by a local family. Cas Padri Toni & Restaurant Sa Canyeta. Both fantastic food & hospitality. We had an evening meal for 5, total Euro70 with local wine Euro7 a bottle....With a car everything else on the island is just short drive away.. We met the Bunola's lovely family pet/dog - 'Taka' who is so well trained. She does not enter the villa at all. We did request if Taka could stay with us for a couple of days. Miguel allowed this, Taka slept in the garage. Such a gorgeous dog. All you need is at Ses Cases Noves, Washing machine/barbecue/iron/huge fridge freezer/roof top terrace/pool shower & the best Mallorcan hospitality without any pressure. Mr Miguel Bunola you Sir are a star. Thank you from each of us...

“18th Century Mallorcan Paradise”

We did not arrive at Ses Cases Noves (SCN) until nearly 0100hrs. We were met by the lovely owner Miguel. He was really really lovely. Very helpful offering lots of local information. On our arrival in the fridge Miguel had provided emergency provisions to include bread, milk, cheese, ham, eggs, beer & cola. Also grapes oranges and other fruits from the garden orchard. SCN is a large 18th century Mallorcan villa. Everything about it was just perfect. The swimming pool is large & well maintained & in very good condition. Salt water, exceptionally clean. Even late October we used it daily (you just could not resist a dip). All rooms are large airy and clean. SCN is located in the village of Maria de la Salut. Which has all you need. (All walking distance from SCN). Two supermarkets a bakers, 2 restaurants, tapas bar and other bars. A car is a must for the location. We only stayed 5 days, we regret not booking longer. SCN is more that home from home. Miguel and his daughter Aina were brilliant. We were kept updated during the booking via e mail and message. Miguel was only a telephone call away if needed whilst at SCN. (Which he wasn't).

“Authentic and comfortable, nice pool”

We stayed in the villa for a week and would have liked more. The house was clean, comfortable and very authentic. There was lot of space, cool bedrooms with fans and clean and nice bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen and oudoor kitchen in the garage and barbecue. The pool was very nice with salty water and there is plenty of space for 3 children and 3 adults. Theres is very nice terrasses and chairs for relaxing. In the garage you find besides shadow for your car all nessesary equipment such as washing mashine. madrasses etc. Miquel is a fantastic host and speaks very good English. He lives in Palma, but met us at the house and gave us an outstanding introduction to the house and the area. He comes by once in a while to clean the pool and makes sure that we were all right, but was always very dicreate and freindly. Also he suggested trips to take and helped us pay an parking ticket in the bank as we don't speak spanish. He also took our children to pick up eggs and hold the chickens. Besides he takes very good care of the surrounding garden and he brought us vegetables, fruits, eggs and honey from his own production. We can highly recommend the villa for a stay for one or two families or a two generation holiday.

“Home away from home!!”

Our stay at ses cases noves was nothing more then perfect. The house is a very clean and a comfy home with 4 bedrooms with enough space for everybody and fast Wifi. There is a lot of equipment and whiteware that can be found in the kitchen and so you can have friends over for dinner without having to worry to run out of plates. The surrounding garden supplies you with fresh vegetables and fruits and the pool is just amazing to jump in for a little swim on a hot day. The grapes that grow right in front of your front door are amazing. Miguel who is the owner is one of the nicest persons we have met on our many journeys and who was very caring and brought us fruits and vegetables and was helping us with informations regarding restaurants and places to go on the island. Right around the corner there is a supermarket within a 5 min walking distance for your everyday needs and also a playground nearbye. We can highly recommend this finca and we will try our best to be back again sometimes soon.
