The security deposit serves two main purposes: to guard against willfull or negligent damage. You may wish to conclude a damage or third party insurance to guard against this especially if you travel with very active children. Secondly it serves as a deposit for the expected electricity charges. The first 50 Euros per week are free, the excess is charged at 25 Eurocent per kWh. The security deposit will be repaid to the bank account of the client within 10 days after the end of his rental period. Re final cleaning: this charge is waived for stays of 2 weeks or more.
