“Lovely villa & Easy Booking Process”

Reviewed 15 Jun 2017

This is a large detached electric gated holiday villa positioned in a quiet cul-de-sac. A short walk to a couple of restaurants, sea, child park & small shop, Our party of 11 enjoyed the spacious accommodation and pool area which is located up a few steps from the garden which we found safe for young children, We were glad we hired a car to visit the lovely beach & bars of Alcudia Port but only a short taxi ride 6-7 eur.The bedroom layout suited the demographics of our party-teenagers in 2 x twin rooms on lower floor, young children near their parents on middle floor a double on the ground floor & a double on the top floor. We found the villa very clean & communication between the agent & owner excellent when we had a query re the utilities. The large BBQ-outside dinning was used extensively.Part of the group travelled from the airport to Alcudia Port by A32 bus, only 4 stops which took about 1 hour, Would definitely return for a family holiday,

Response from the manager Dear Simon and family, Thanks for being such wonderful guests, charming, caring and thankful. It was a pleasure meeting you and helping you to have a good time. We hope to see you very soon. Cheers Alvaro

“Amazing place and location”

We were 3 families with 1year old baby and 4year old each. The house was lovely and very well set up. Pretty much just made use of the outdoor eating and the bbq every day. The pool wasnt heated but didnt matter. The kids were in there for hours each day. It is a deep pool but with arm bands, inflatable rings lilos the kids were all very happy. There is a small but perfectly formed beach just down the road (5-10min walk). Its nice sand, no loungers, calm sea and can snorkel and see fish easily. There is a beach cafe there too which again was very nice. I was very pleased there were things that we could walk to without getting everyone into the cars. Big supermarket was a short drive and the big beaches in Alcudia and Port de Pollenca were short drives. Really loved it. There are lots of steps in the house as it is on so many levels so just to be aware of. We had 3 babies all crawling or coasting so just had to be very careful making sure they didnt make a break for the nearest step. The basement rooms are a bit less pretty but it was fine-only used for sleeping so made no difference. The agent was also very nice and helpful.

We arrived and met curro he showed us around . Lovely clean and big enough for us all to have a bit of space . We travelled with 2 other families . We all ended up with our own bathroom and a spare one and a bonus shower and toilet under the pool ! Basement bedrooms were in need of wardrobes , and was damp , had a humidifier on constantly..recommended by curro . Emptied it 2 /3 times a day Pool was lovely ..could of done with a spash of paint around but again nice and clean . Cleaners came on the sat of our two week stay and changed beds towels and bathrooms . Lovely job . Pool was cleaned twice whilst we were there and gardeners cut the lawn . . Little shop close by , prices not too bad . Bar by the sea was great . Small beach but lovely . Kids loved the pontoon ! The hotel president is just by the beach and ideal as most of your trips you book pick up from here . (No frills trips...we left a leaflet in the pack ) Bus stop ...not great times . Best to use taxis ..€6-7 into port alcudia and about €8-10 alcudia Supermarket €7-9 ..mercadona Porta pollensa€16 Alcudia old town €6 Not too bad . They add a extra euro for picking up from a address and if you put anything in the boot . Air conditioning in bedrooms was a blessing . Barbque was great . Used that a few times . Outside dinning was lovely . Plenty of sun beds available but a few were broke . Overall a lovely area ..quiet and felt like upmarket area . We all had a wonderful time would recommend for a large group that didn't mind being slightly out of town . A hire car may be a option

“Absolutely stunning.”

10 adults and 2 children stayed here for a week. The villa is absolutely beautiful. The area is lovely with a cute little beach however the limited restaurants close relatively early so you may have to go further afield if you wish to have more choice. Overall it was perfect though and the host was amazing waiting for our arrival and talking us through everything. Would highly recommend.

Response from the manager Dear Ashleigh, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It was my great pleasure to host all of you here. Kindest regards,

“Mrs”

“Perfect choice for our family vacation”

We travelled to Majorca for the first time this Easter and booked this property in Alcanada based on other traveller's opinions. The house is beautiful and well equipped. The swimming pool is lovely, with stone walls and a small waterfall. Internet is not super fast in Majorca, but enough for us and the kids didn't complain. One hairdryer stopped working during our stay, so we called the manager that brought a replacement within one hour. All in all, a very pleasant stay and a house to recommend.
