“Home from home facilities”
We stayed for a week at Villa Can Jaume mid July, which was incredibly hot - although we are not complaining! All four bedrooms were a good size and had plenty of space. Each room was air conditioned, although this was timed 2-4pm and 10pm until 6am and could not be over-ridden. The only downfall to this is that you had to be in the room to activate the air conditioning which meant coming home to a warm bedroom in the evening. The pool was a great size and all four of the teenagers spent much of their time in there cooling down and having fun with inflatables etc There were plenty of sunbeds for everyone and the rental came with pool towels which was invaluable The table tennis was a good addition and was located in a shaded area. We held daily tournaments in a bid to escape the midday sun. A suggestion to the owners would be the addition of a dart board area too. The underground garage area is perfect for it The kitchen facilities were really good, the only thing we would have liked would've been a cool box for our day out to the water park. The greatest facility by far was the free wifi - everyone took advantage of this and without it I'm sure we would have had sulks and discontent. The Villa is only a short walk from the Marina, but it is quite a walk around the headland to Cala D'or centre. It is a lovely walk however, and some of the yachts moored there are stunning. Would definitely recommend to a large group or 3 or 4 couple sharing.
