We stayed in Villa Falco for 7 nights at the end of June 2017. Pros: 1) Lovely outdoor area / pool (unheated but temperature was fine) and good shade 2) Clean modern kitchen & bathrooms 3) 10 min walk to the beach 4) Owner friendly and accommodating 5) Good WIFI Cons: 1) No aircon in 2 of the 3 bedrooms and the one bedroom with aircon took a long time to take effect 2) First floor bedroom (with ensuite bathroom) is located up open-backed stairs with no door at the top so not suitable for young children or elderly 3) Club at end of street kept us awake until 6am on Fri and Sat night (would probably be fine if we could shut the windows but was too hot) 4) We had lots of mosquito bites which we think was down to the proximity of the villa to the waterway on the main street 5) Advertised for 6 people but not 6 of everything ie. missing pillows, bowls 6) No english channels on the TV if that's something you need Other Info: 1) The rental agency will leave the key in a key box with code which is very hard to open - have a key of some sort with you as this is needed to prise it open 2) Taxi fairs from the villa were: 6 EUR to Old Town, 4-5 EUR to Marina 3)There were no food essentials when we arrived ie. salt / pepper / oil etc left over from other guests but we left these so hopefully still there for others to use
