“Beautiful luxury villa in lovely Deia”
We stayed here in June as a family of six adults and a nine month old baby. This is a really wonderful villa, beautifully modernised with all mod cons. Excellently equipped kitchen with dining area and all bedrooms are a good size with ensuite facilities. The master suite is on the ground floor, the other three are the floor below. There is also a large lounge with dining table and two small studies. Outside was a large table on a balcony overlooking the really beautiful infinity pool and there was also a separate barbecue area. If you have the inclination there is also a good sized gym! The villa was spotlessly clean and some nice touches were that the owner had left some basic provisions including wine and a very nice cheese. Plenty of coat hangers were provided and there was an ample supply of fresh towels. Good wifi is avaible free of charge. We really could not fault this villa. Be warned, though, that it is not ideal for children in any way. There are lots of quite steep, potentially treacherous, steps but my grandson is not yet crawling so it was absolutely fine. The owner kindly provided a cot at no extra charge. The owner and his wife were delightful. We didn't have any problems whatsoever but if you did I'm sure they would respond immediately. They live only about 150 metres away in the hotel Villa Verde which they also own and run. They organised for cleaners to come twice during our stay at very reasonable cost. The swimming pool has to have one of the best views ever but, be warned, it is unheated and in June it barely made 25° but no doubt it will warm up over the next couple of months. If you take a car, there is parking, which is a rarity in the village but the roads are small and windy. We had a minivan meet us in Palma to take us there. It's quite a feat of driving to actually get to the villa in a large vehicle! The firm we used, incidentally, for the transfer is Transferclass. They are very reliable, have modern vehicles and excellent drivers. We could not fault the accommodation in any way and will definitely return if we have the chance.
