Previous reviews made us slightly nervous - could Casa Windlenook be as good as they say. The answer is yes and more so. The villa is excellent - finished to an outstanding standard with everything you need, and in a lovely location. The pool is brilliant and loved by all four of us and we loved cooking on the top of the line Weber gas BBQ. Eleanor and Mike were friendly, helpful and informative from the start (the directions to the villa being particularly brilliant) as was the local manager. Nothing was too much trouble. Moraira (the nearest town) is lovely - we enjoyed the beach, ice creams at Tutto Frutto and lunch at Algas L'Andrago (on the front on the Calpe Road from Moraira). Kids liked playing on the inflatable by the beach in Moraira as well. We also like the beach at L'Arenal where there was a diving platford to play on. Overall a great villa and a brilliant location - our holiday was over far far too quickly.

We stayed here in July and were looking for a relaxing, comfortable retreat to recharge batteries. We certainly found it here. The beds were superbly comfortable, the supplying of the lovely soft towels (including pool towels) means your luggage weight is reduced. Although as you drive to the property it appears to be very built up, the position of the villa means you have wonderful views and we found the properties around us which were in use, were very quiet. The outside space (two levels) excellent – especially the naya for the evening drinks and meal, and the barbecue was excellent and easy to use. We barely left the villa – it was extremely well equipped, wifi, full sky package tv and everything you could want in the kitchen. The air conditioning in bedrooms and living area was excellent – a great place to cool down after spending time by the lovely pool – which was perfect. The quality of the furnishings is exceptional and nothing appeared to be too much trouble – the property manager was also keen to help wherever possible. We could easily have stayed for ever and I am sure we will be back as soon as we can to stay in this lovely villa!

This was our first visit to Casa Windlenook. It is such a comfortable,relaxing and peaceful place to stay, with beautiful views. Everything is of the highest quality. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds so comfortable. It is truly a home from home and they have thought of everything. I would like to thank Eleanor and Mike for their friendly advice and very detailed directions which helped me find the villa whilst travelling on my own initially. Nothing is too much trouble for them in helping you enjoy the experience.

The owners have taken great care, with the provision of quality furnishings and equipment, to make this wonderful villa a stunning, comfortable place to relax and enjoy your time in this gorgeous area of the Spanish coast. The very comfortable beds, the pool, the sea views, the relaxing terraces, the extremely well-equipped kitchen all make this the perfect place to stay. I would heartily recommend it to anyone and will certainly be back!!

We arrived at Windlenook and my first impression was that it was high end, clean and spacious. After touring the villa and seeing the views I knew this was dream come true. The linens were top notch and the towels were so soft. The pool was heaven. I will be back to windlenook no doubt about it. We also toured the beaches and surrounding towns so much to see. Thank you for making our stay such a delight.

Casa Windlenook is an awesome, beautIful, clean, delightful Villa... You get the theme? I could continue but let's move on. The views are excellent, the beds are fantastic (best we slept on during this trip) and the pool is a gem! Our days began and ended on the "Naya" espresso overlooking the med, pool, breakfast, pool, exploring or beach, pool, naya. Does it get any better? Eleanor and Mike have created a very special retreat. If you book a stay at Casa Windlenook you will understand the A - Z reference as Eleanor has created a book to help you maximize your vacation but if you require anything else their property manager Lorraine is your go to gal! So helpful:-) Zaftig... In honor of our German traveling companions! Thanks for everything! We would love to return someday....

My family and I spent a wonderful week in Moraira. Casa Windlenook is an exceptional, well equipped villa - the extremely helpful owners really have thought of everything. It really felt like a home from home & our two girls absolutely loved the swimming pool which was the perfect temperature! We could have stayed all Summer. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back to stay in this stunning villa and location.

Casa Windlelook is an exceptionally maintained and equipped villa. Every item you could possibly need is provided. The owners are lovely people - very helpful and responsive! The villa was very peaceful (we stayed in Jan so not a busy time anyway) and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the lovely views.

We didn't book our holiday this year until late and were left with the choice of Villas that nobody else really wanted...when looking at the various companies on line. We have stayed in quite a few Villa's over the years and so are quite particular when making a final choice. We were beginning to get worried that we were not going to find something suitable. Fortunately, I came across Casa Windlenook which turned out to be exactly what we were looking for and more ! The villa is superb, I can't actually fault it. Very modern and very well maintained throughout. Superb views, great swimming pool. We have two sons, 12 and 16 who thought the ultra modern TV with a 1,000 channels was great ! Every need has been considered. There is a great gas barbq on the terrace. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are of very high standard and there is plenty of everything...plates, glasses, cutlery etc. The owners were very helpful throughout the booking process and very friendly. Our only disappointment was that we only had one week to enjoy it ! We really liked Moraira which boasts plenty of restaurants etc but with out being unspoilt. We will return at some point I am sure.

I stayed in this villa for 3 weeks in June / July with my family.Wife and 2 girls 12 & 10. We all had a fantastic time. The villa is extremely well stocked with everything that you may need. The real luxury , unlike other villas I have stayed in, the little things were there. Salt & Pepper, gas for BBQ, chairs for the beach, and a lovely welcoming pack. The pool was fantastic and was regular used by our kids late into the evening. While the days were very hot, there was usually a a little breeze that made live just that little bit more comfortable. The view from the villa over the sea is just fantastic. We spent many evenings having a drink or dinner looking out to sea. The area was very quiet and at time it felt like the only noise came from my kids. There are a number of towns close by with many restaurants and bars. Various beaches are close by. But a car is a must. Great location for cyclists , but expect some big climbs. Great villa, great location, fantastic help from owners and villa manager.
