“Great villa and great location”

Reviewed 3 Sep 2017

Stayed at Casa Calandra for two weeks in July. Jean the owner was excellent to deal with and very helpful with recommendations in the area. The villa suited our needs perfectly. My daughter who has some mobility issues had the downstairs double bedroom with ensuite, her friend had her own bedroom and ensuite, my teenage son and his friend had bedrooms each but shared a connecting bathroom and myself and husband had the outside annex . We made good use of pool, games room , BBQ area and WiFi. The villa was very well maintained The location about 15 mins walk into town and to the beach meant we could do things independently and didn't have to drive everywhere. Moraira was a lovely town we have never visited before but will again. We enjoyed the variety of restaurants , the lovely beach and were lucky enough to visit during fiesta time. An excellent holiday rental.

“Great family villa”

Stayed here as a group of 8 family members. The villa was in a good location about a 15 mins walk from Moraira..Plenty of space for everyone and very nicely furnished, clean and tidy..There was plenty of crockery but it would have been a help to have more cutlery as we ate at the villa at least twice most days. .it would have saved having to wash up so often!! The pool was really nice. As the villa can accommodate 9 it would have been handy to have more than 6 loungers. The outside dining areas were very handy, especially the one close to the bbq area. A great villa to spent your holiday in.

“A Family Paradise in Luxury”

On arriving at Casa Calandra we were immediately struck by the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the villa, along with the quietness of the location even though we were a mere ten minute walk from town. A perfect combination for our holiday requirements. The Villa was exactly as was descried, the double bedrooms all roomy, the lounge area both comfortable and welcoming, and a dining area that was well appointed and positioned very handily to the well equipped kitchen making this perfect for family meals, dinner parties, or just an intimate dinner for two over a bottle (or more) of vino. The patio area was vast, with two sets of family sized tables and chairs to accommodate large families with ease with a very handy built in barbecue next to one of the table sets. The pool was immaculately kept and inviting and, on a hotter day I would've have spent more time in it. The sun-loungers on the patio were very comfortable, certainly comfortable enough to make snoozing a little too easy in them so make sure you apply plenty of sun protection before settling down in the Mediterranean sun The local nearby town of Moraira boasts a number of shops, boutiques , and welcoming bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Many of the restaurants have locations with beautiful sea views that could distract you from the excellent quality of food being served. Our trip to Casa Calandra was a delight but passed all too quickly however, we intend to return very soon to enjoy the villa and the surrounding area.

“Relaxing, luxurious Villa”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2016

The Villa lends itself to a relaxing holiday, it is fully equipped with all that you may need and feels luxurious. It is very close to bars and restaurants, catering to all tastes. However the villa villa is positioned far enough away creating a very relaxing and quiet surrounding. Was welcomed by a lovely welcome pack, and maintenance staff were available for any assistance required. The villa is very well maintained and has all that you would need for a successful holiday. The pool is kept very clean and inflatable toys are available for all to use. There is an outdoor kitchen that is great for evening socialising. Great location, between two cities, would advise having a car, to make full use of exploring the area. Thanks Casa Calandra, We had a fantastic holiday here, and will definitely be returning!!

“perfect”

Stayed here with friends and the villa was truly luxurious. From providing every gadget in the kitchen, to remote control sun blind, to having shower gel and shampoo in the bathrooms. The bbq is fantastic with its own fridge (lovely on a hot day) and the deck had lots of sun and shady areas. We had a lot of fun in the games room with a pool table and fuse ball. The villa is positioned so you can walk into Moraira, the beach and restaurants, so you don't need a car. All in all we had a fantastic time.
