“Excellent Villa”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2017

We’ve just returned from a week in Edwards villa, it’s safe to say the photos don’t do the place justice. Edward was an excellent host who met us on arrival, left the fridge fully stocked and helped with useful info on how to get to the nearest supermarkets. The villa itself is a lot bigger than it appears and there’s several areas around the pool to relax with a separate area down some stairs that has more areas to sunbath and also comes with a BBQ. The villa was an approximately 20 mins away from San Antonio main strip so was close enough to walk and far enough away to be quite. The views of the sunset from the villa roof was also amazing. Would highly recommend

“Fantastic Villa That ‘Made’ the Holiday For Us!”

Reviewed 8 Sep 2017

We stayed in August 2017, it being our first time to Ibiza and first time going ‘self-catering.’ Friends getting married on the island being the primary reason for our visit to Ibiza this year and so we rolled our annual family holiday into the same trip. Having this villa as a base for both the wedding event and our holiday home for our family of four plus two grandparents for the fortnight was superb! Sandra and Edward, the owners, were there to give us a warm greeting at the property on arrival and give us the tour of the property and point out essentials like locations of outdoor light switches, how to operate cooking equipment etc. A lovely touch by them both to have a few essentials and enough food left in the fridge (and a few beers) to have a meal that evening so that we and the children could swim and relax after our journey, rather than make a trip to the local supermarket. Sandra & Edward visited the following week to change bedding, towels and did a general clean and tidy, this went above and beyond what we had expected – as the grandparents had joined us that same day after a very early flight from Devon we stayed within the grounds whilst Sandra and Edward went about these tasks, although we must have held them up as we kept stopping to chat about the upcoming wedding, their extensive time in Ibiza, places to visit, their grandchildren etc. We really could not imagine meeting, a nicer couple of people. The Villa itself was in a great location for access to San Antonio and the surrounds without being too close to the centre; we made day-trips to beaches all over the island. Supermarkets were easily accessible by car nearby – one of our party has Coeliac Disease and the local supermarkets had a multitude of Gluten Free products available, which put our minds at rest on our first run to the shops. The property is very spacious, we had 4 adults and 2 children at the peak of our holiday and the accommodation really felt like a home from home, which is not surprising since this is the owners own home in the off-season. A real highlight is the large pool for the size of the accommodation, our children loved being able to roll out of bed and jump straight into the pool, not to mention late night swims with the pool lights on – something they couldn’t do within the confines of a hotel. As we loaded our bags into the car to leave our ‘holiday-house’ our youngest had to have a cry, which pretty much sums-up how much she loved her stay. Great villa, great Landlords (Edward & Sandra), great Wedding = Great Holiday! Thanks Tom

Response from the owner Thanks for a great review we are very grateful and pleased to hear your family had such a super time yours Edward Sandra

“Great villa. Great location. Had a great time!”

We arrived late on a Saturday evening and the owners, Edward and Sandra, were there with a warm welcome to show us around. What a villa! It was a family holiday, 5 of us, aged from 16 upwards. We were there for a week and there was more than enough space (indoor and outdoor) for us and the pool to cool off in. The fridge was even stocked on our arrival which we were grateful for. There was everything you could think of in the villa. The location is good in a residential area but only 15-20 min walk from the bars and restaurants and a 5 min walk to the cash and carry to top up on cheaper food etc than the local supermarkets. Sometimes we never left the villa as we wanted to make the most of it. We would highly recommend it and can't wait to return.

Response from the owner Thanks for the great review and thank you all for leaving house in a perfect condition much appreciated hope to see you all again sometime Edward Sandra

“Gave us all we needed”

Reviewed 24 Aug 2016

Stayed as a family with a young baby in August. The owners were very helpful in arranging for various things we needed including a cot and baby bedding. The house itself is very nice. The pool is big enough and the grounds are surprisingly large. The owners even got a few provisions in for our arrival (milk, bread, beer, etc.). It isn't slap bang in the centre of San Antonio but it's close enough that we walked it every day. I would say it's 30 mins walk with a pram. But half of that is walking around the harbour so pleasant enough. We had a car so made use of a couple of local supermarkets, which can't be more than 5 minutes drive. On the walk back from San Antonio we passed a smaller shop which was ideal for getting milk, water, etc for the mornings. All in all we all throughly enjoyed our trip and enjoyed the villa.

“Truly spectacular villa equipped to the highest standard!”

A lovely spacious villa with superb indoor AND outdoor facilities. We had a week's holiday with both family and friends of different ages and wanted for nothing during our stay. The villa's outdoor spaces allowed for us for all be together or to have time alone. Good location and we felt no need to hire a car as it's approximately 15 minutes walk from the main strip and taxis are readily available a short walk away. A cash and carry is 5 mins away for stocking up on any items we needed at a lower cost than the usual supermarkets. The owners have thought of everything and we really could have just stayed in our own slice of paradise for the whole week. We made full use of the large swimming pool and outdoor seating areas and also the lower barbecue area with its own summerhouse which has a lounge and dining area separate to the villa. Watching the sunset from the rooftop was spectacular and we will definitely be returning. Cannot recommend Casa Baltica enough!
