Anika was very good with communication and responded promptly.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the location and staff to everyone, if you after 5 star accomodation this is not the place for you.
The villa has more of a rustic feel, the bathrooms aren't overly functional due to the type of handbasins, there just isn't anywhere to put your stuff. The kitchen is tiny and we found the 3 small bar fridges couldn't cope with left over food and our supplies. We had the upstairs room with an ensuite but the room itself was the smallest with two wardrobes with one shelf, really nowhere to put your clothes that would normally go in a drawer.
We didn't use the projector in lounge room, kids ended up watching movies on the laptop.
We spent most of our time in the villa at the dining table or in/near the pool.
As with everywhere in Bali pack the mozzie repellent, the mozzie nets were great around the bed.
Now the positives, and there are many.
The staff were great, Ketut the villa manger arranged scooters, manicure and recommended spas. She was most helpful when we asked anything.
Putu and Putu were wonderful. They are excellent cooks and we had a wonderful dinner in the villa one night, if we were more organised we would have had more. Breakfast was great, as was lunch when we ordered it. The cost was fantastic too. Security was great, sorry I can't remember the name of the lovely man who collected our takeaway and looked after us.
Location is perfect for cost. Walked to Oberoi Street many times and there is a Kodak money changer shop on drupardi lane on the way. We hired scooters and it took us 5 minutes to get to the beach and Ku De Ta. Taxis are close by and cheap, but the traffic is hectic.
The pool at the villa is lovely, with plenty of room around it with sun loungers. We always had a good supply of pool towels.
Really the photos on TripAdvisor give you a good idea of what to expect.
We probably won't be back next time we will take our younger kids and the pool isn't suitable for a fence, but I would recommend it to friends with kids of an age that don't need a pool fence.</p>
