<p itemprop="description">To sum up our experience, the villa offer the space of a vacation rental, plus the added benefits of daily housekeeping, and available room service. We spent a fabulous 7 days at Villa L'Orange, and I can not rave about the staff that really catered to our every needs. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We are a family of four, with two teenage daughters, and all of us were extremely happy with our stay at the villa.

The resort itself is in a quiet village on that beach that is about 300 yds away from the Lebih fishing village. It's quiet and low-key location, away from the tourist crowd of Kuta/Legian. You will run into more Balinese here than tourists. What it does have is meticulously manicured lawn that the ground keeping staff maintain daily - pruning, watering, raking for the guest to enjoy. All the hard works are done behind the scenes at dawn that I would have not known if not for the jet-lag.

We rented the pool villa, and it has the view of both the pool and the beach beyond the resort gate. The villa with its 2-bedrooms and a large common living area was more than adequate for our needs. The daily housekeeping was greatly appreciated, since no matter how hard we tried, it difficult to not tracking sand into the villa. And the staff was great at scheduling their works around our absence.

Made, the driver, was extremely accommodating at not only driving us everywhere we wanted to go, but also provided an informative insights into Bali culture, religion, history, customs, and just readily respond to all our inquisitive questions. In 7 days, Made drove us to Padangbai for snorkelling, Ubud three times for various events (dinner, lunch, shopping), Uluwatu for sightseeing & a show, Jimbaran for dinner on the beach, Seminyak twice for dinner, Gianyar night market, and few other stops along the way. At the end, after spending that much time with Made, it almost felt like we were saying goodbye to a family member when he dropped us off at the airport.

Similarly, the kitchen staff was also great at creating appetizing meals for us throughout our stay. We ordered 5 meals to be served in the villa during our stay. The only regret we had is not to have the time to order up the 'Ayam Betutu - dirty chicken' from the chef; he need a day to prep for it. I would have love to try that, and based on the other dishes that he made for us, I think I would enjoy every bite.

The manager, Eco, was incredibly gracious. We mentioned briefly during check-in that we would like to have some tropical fruits while in Bali. The next day, the manager brought us 15-20 lbs of mixed fruits, mangoes (two types), dragon fruit, longans, rambutan, mangosteen, and snake fruits (something my daughters were very curious about).

What we discovered in our stay is that at Villa L'Orange there are a staff of 16 Balinese who are extremely focus on making our experience at the villa as pleasant as possible, and coincidentally, the most guests the resorts will have is 16 when all 3 villas is booked. During our stay, twelve guests were the most we saw, and we hardly ran into the other guests.

If you looking to discover Bali, Villa L'Orange will offer everything you need. However, keep in mind the real asset to the Villa L'Orange is the staff that run it.
