Stayed here with my other half for 12 nights.....could not be happier with my choice.

Pool is much larger than it appears in the photos, and generally really lovely, the garden areas are really pretty. I have no experience of private villa rentals or self catering my leisure trips are generally in the finest 5star resorts I can find.....this place benchmarks very well at that standard. Last year I stayed at the Kayana in Seminyak ..... This is better you get more for your money.....of course you forgo the room service benefits......but we were able to get food delivered to the villa from restaurants....so I wouldn't hesitate again.

The living area is open plan and open air on the one side ....very spacious , beautifully fitted , decorated with everything you would need. The bedrooms are in 2 separate bungalows in the villa grounds both have private bathrooms .... Which are both outdoors. As there is a lot of outdoor space you will be sharing your space with some small lizards etc....so as long as this doesn't cause you a pant wetting episode you will be fine....my mrs is a screamer and she coped.

Having just returned from India where we stayed at a place with an outdoor bathroom I was nervous, however I needn't have been the bathrooms were spotless and there was no evidence of animal "activity".
The bedrooms are well appointed, masses of storage, with safes and AC.

Yuni the housekeeper came and made us breakfast each day, and was happy to organise shopping , laundry, taxis, reservations etc...we just paid these extra bills as we went along and tipped her at the end.

The cleaning regime is extreme here .. 2 cleaners and 1 Gardner come each day for 1-1.5hrs ...and deep clean the place every day....it's cleaner than my house at home.

The pool is sun from 9am to 4:30 pm.....if you are desperate you can sunbathe on the toilet from 8am....but I wouldn't recommend it

Richard the owner was easy to deal with and responsive throughout the booking process. He arranged for a starter grocery pack and an airport collection which was great.

Location wise.... You are in shopping land more so than bar and dining land....however a 5 min cab journey will get you most places you need and cabs are cheap here.

Some tips .... Bring good mosquito repellent ...there is no getting away from the blighters.

In short I would recommend ... enjoy.
