I hadn't been to Nusa Lembongan before, but even if the island itself was terrible I would definitely come back just to stay at this amazing villa! The photos really don't do it justice, I have never experienced accommodation of this calibre before.

Firstly the booking process was very easy, I was even asked what activities my group might like to do so they could make recommendations and get the ball rolling on making arrangements for us. Then when we arrived, the villa manager and staff made us feel very welcome and I knew we wouldn't be left wanting for anything. Breakfast is included and the menu is comprehensive, it was a great way to start each day. There are quite a few restaurants and beach bars close by (that offer a pick up and drop off service, very handy!) but the chef offers an awesome lunch and dinner menu so you can eat well very and for a good price at the villa as well.

This was the most relaxing holiday I have ever had but there are plenty of activities on the island so if laying by the infinity pool drinking a Bintang or cocktail is not your thing, you can go snorkelling with manta rays, hire a scooter and explore the island, go surfing or diving, the list goes on.

I would 100% recommend Coral Villa to anyone who is looking for a tropical getaway but wants to stay out of the chaos of Bali, I would be back tomorrow if I could.

A group of us (plus my 10 month old) made plans to travel to Bali for a pre festive season getaway.

When researching where to stay Coral Villa stood out, with it's beachfront island location and fresh appearance.

From the moment we walked in, the villa completely exceeded our expectations. Breathtaking!

The villa is cleverly designed so that you spend all your time in and around the pool area, enjoying the beautiful Bali weather, and the incredible serenity that Nusa Lembongan has to offer (everything looks better from an infinity pool, am I right?!).

The team onsite were simply unbelievable, they made us all feel so welcome with nothing being a problem. One of the overwhelming elements of travelling to Bali, particularly with a small child, can just be the small things you take for granted like simple grocery shopping, a trip to the pharmacy etc. All things they were more than happy to take care of.

The chef cooked up some amazing meals, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as delicious accompanying cocktails.

There are some incredible restaurants close by (which offer pick up and drop off service - all effortlessly arranged by the staff onsite) and great snorkelling (with manta rays!!).

The serenity of the island is a breathtaking and welcome change from the hustle and bustle of Bali.

By the end of the trip it felt like we were leaving our family behind.
