        <p itemprop="description">My wife and I spent a wonderful 10 days at the Leaf, having decided we both deserved a break from busy schedules and life!
We were not disappointed....The hotel must have transferred to new ownership in 2015 as there is some confusions to when it was built. Yes, there are areas that need a little attention but this does not detract from a comfortable stay in the spacious villas with excellent amenities, wonderful bathroom and outside space which was a bonus.
The hotel staff were excellent in their task of looking after the guests, especially Udin who took time to arrange two private day trips for us as well as phoning us on his day off to finalise arrangements....beyond the call of duty...thank you Udin, we greatly appreciated your kindness and would be grateful if you could pass on our thanks to our drivers and guides who took great care in looking after us.
 We were also so well looked after when my wife twisted her ankle on a trip to the rice fields and the hotel staff's concern and advice was touching.

We both enjoyed our free massage at the spa with the wonderful ladies.
The villa was cleaned every day and the turn down service and snack were a nice touch.
Yes, there are issues which the Leaf needs to take on board:
Food: breakfast has good selection of a la carte and self service, however lunch and dinner menu are a bit of a hit/miss and this was a shame which lets down the hotel.
The jets/fountain in the villa's pool did not work all the time which meant debris from the trees and plants tended to gather on surface.
The hotel is secluded but taxis are cheap and easily arranged by staff or through private transfer.
Although these are small niggles, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but specially the kindness and generosity of the staff.</p>
