We recently stayed at Villa Sabana and had an outstanding holiday. Our group consisted of 2 families with young children and 2 grandparents - a total of 6 adults and 5 kids.

The whole experience - from the booking process to the final airport dropoff - was exceptional. I have never dealt with a more professional, helpful and friendly team.

The villa and grounds are outstanding - as an architect myself I cannot fault it.

The grandparents enjoyed the amazing secluded Chinese Room when they needed to escape the kids!
We rented a pool fence to make the pool safer for the young kids, but other than that there is nothing extra required to make this the best family holiday.

The location of the villa is perfect, with just a few km of quiet roads to the beach. We rented motor scooters and were quite happy to ride these to the beach on the backroads, when we weren't using the villa car. The area is quiet (no road noise or pollution) but also close enough to Seminyak, Canggu restaurants, beaches, the Canggu Club etc.

Nyoman and the villa staff were a delight; always available when they were needed but never in the way. The food was better than any of the top restaurants we ate at in Bali - so good that we cancelled some restaurant reservations to eat in the villa.

I cannot recommend this villa and the team highly enough. We will be back.

This is one of those rare places that is even better in reality than in the photos. The villa itself was perfect - gorgeous to look at, very comfortable and with huge amounts of space for all of us, including four children of varying ages, who really enjoyed their autonomy in the kids club - the separate playroom. The staff were truly fabulous and wonderful with the kids, and although they were under no obligation to look after them, they did help entertain them from time to time. The food was fabulous, thanks to the chef, Chitra, and we especially loved the seafood BBQ and had it several times. Our driver Putu (sp?) was especially careful and eternally cheerful, no matter how much we changed our minds or messed around. We hired a fence for the pool as we had a small child who wasn't water safe and also a carer for the same small child, both of which worked out very well and meant we could all relax. It was without doubt one of the best holidays we have ever had as an extended family. One note, we loved the location overlooking the paddy fields because it was quiet and secluded and the children loved going for walks each morning to see the cows (and one magical morning, a new born calf) and other bits of life around us, but it may not suit those wanting to be close to lots of action!
