First of all, Villa Lilakaya is a hidden gem in Seminyak. I booked our short stay because the pictures stood out from the rest, and I'm exhilarated to announce: it certainly did not disappoint! Us 5 girls had an amazing time at the villa - it had a nice sized pool, a gazebo and tanning beds, large compound area to roam around, nice balinese bedrooms & open-concept bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen (& fridge!!) also meant we could easily whip up a quick meal anytime of the day!
We had a party on one of those nights in, unfortunately the neighbours weren't too happy with us :P (yes it's great for parties *wink*)
Private massages were arranged at our villa, and our helpers bought takeaway lunch for us on one of the afternoons. Airport transfers were also arranged at no extra cost!
Location-wise - it was perfect. Situated just minutes walk from Sunset road, eateries (WAHAHA and Pak Malen Babi Guling) & mini marts. Easy access to other parts of Seminyak by car.
One shortfall which we thought could be improved: since the lounge & dining area are open-concept and no air-conditioning is available, it gets very very warm & humid to be at both areas, especially during the day. Fans were available, however it wasn't sufficient to cool down the air.
We girls would like to thank Komang and her team for their excellent service and a memorable stay at Villa Lilakaya. We will definitely be back!

I traveled to Bali with a group of 3 other girls and stayed at Villa Lilakaya for 6 nights. The staff, especially our lovely housekeeper who was on hand at all times, were wonderful and the Villa was kept immaculate. Breakfast was provided every morning and tasted incredible (I highly recommend the pancakes with bacon). The pool was cleaned every day and the staff even organised in room massages.
We also felt extremely secure having security outside our front door 24/7.
The bathrooms, especially outdoor showers, were one of my favourite touches of this villa, with the photos certainly not doing the place justice!
There were always a lot of taxis around and we were a short 2 or 3 minute drive from Seminyak Square, just far enough away for it to be quiet & peaceful.
We moved to a more expensive Villa closer to Seminyak Square for our last couple nights and regretted not staying at Villa Lila Kaya for our entire trip.
Look forward to returning here on our next trip to Bali!
And good luck to our pregnant lovely housekeeper - our fingers and toes are crossed you will have a little boy.

Myself and my 3 friends stayed at villa Lilakaya for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience in all regards!
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were super friendly and we felt safe with security on guard out the front at all hours! (Being a group of girls this was super comforting)
In addition to this the breakfast cooked by the chef every morning was delish, taxis were readily available out the front and it was only around a 3 min trip (20-30 rupiah) into central Seminyak. We felt this was a great location as it was close enough to central but far enough away from the noise of the busy streets!
I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to stay at Villa Lilakaya - we were disappointed we didn't book our whole trip there!!

I stayed here with my parents for 7 nights. The villa is located in the back streets of Seminyak, on a main road. As the living area is open it was noisy as you could here all the traffic going past. It is 20 min walk to Seminyak Square and 15 min walk to the main shopping area of Seminyak. The bedrooms were wonderful with each having its own ensuite. The kitchen area as good but needed a good clean with the sink not being siliconed so water seeped into the cupboard, plus no hot water in the kitchen to wash dishes. A cleaner/helper was on hand from 9-4 each day ( Wayan) who was an absolute gem and made our stay wonderful - a hugh thank you to her. Walking on the main street is a little hectic as it is very busy so if you have small children might be a bit chaotic.
The pool area is divine and was an great to get to the villa after shopping and having the pool all to our selves. I would recommend this to villa if you are not wanting to access beaches and want to see the back blocks of seminyak. I did enjoy my stay the only issue is the noise from the street.
