The Nusa Dua in Bali is one of my favorite places to visit. It offered us peace and the sights at the villa were very beautiful! Villa OMG has an amazing location offering the best of both worlds, the sea directly in front and cliffs close behind.

The layout of the villa is perfect for family getaways as while the common areas were amply spread out to offer everyone some personal space when needed, they are all within sight of one another so you never have to 'look for a missing person' either.

The villa management was incredibly helpful and reply promptly to all requests for assistance. Arya the Butler displayed an amazing amount of patience. The villa manager was very nice and spoke better English than the rest of the staff. She was always ready to help make my stay as exciting as possible - just tell her what the group needs and she works magic! The villa's drivers spoke good English too so they were able to interact and provide insightful local information during our day trips. The cleaning staff tidied our bedrooms, dining, living areas routinely but could have benefited from a bit more initiative. We had to remind them to clean some forgotten areas.

The trip was truly OMG experience!.. We are looking forward to a return trip this year.

Stay In Villa OMG (Lower Villa) for 2 Nights with my entire Family for wedding party.

Positives:
-Magificent View.

Negatives:
-Lack of Maintenance: cracked wall, etc - see my pictures.
-Hot Water, Sattelite TV, Air Conditioner didn't work well.
-Service was very bad, their staff didn't friendly at all, they lack of knowledge of servicing guest.
-The road down to Villa OMG was very steep, and narrow (maybe just 3 meters), so you must wait another car going down, if you want to take your car going up.
-The Location is in middle of nowhere, didn't have taxi service, so you must book your transportation in advance (they didn;t have transportation service) if you want going out.
-The Management, doesn't care about their hotel, when my family want to make complaint, they didn't want to see us.

Recommended: Absolutely No, for another amazing view, you can go to Alila Uluwatu, Banyan Tree, Samabe, etc, with much better service levels.
Return To Sleep: Absolutely No.

As usual, I always include photos in each of my reviews on Tripadvisor. - It's Real Review.

We stayed in OMG villa which is the lowest site of all 9 villas for 6 days. The view is breath taking as mentioned in the website, overlooking the endless ocean, beautiful infinity pool and a nice gazebo. There are many places to sit around in groups. The helpers were quiet good, breakfast was good, they filled the fridge with many can drinks (got to pay). Rooms are all spacious, each with a large comfy bed or twin beds, a balcony, a large bathroom with large bathtub or jacuzzi. Too bad from 4 rooms the other 3 rooms the hot water didnt work. We had informed the helper and a technician came but didnt solve the problem. Our bathroom downstairs was smelly, like gutter smell for time to time. The next thing is the ACs in the living room was not cold enough, there were 2 but one only blew air but not cold. Bali is hot and steamy so a good AC was a necessity. The satelite TV sometimes didnt work well either. Wifi was only available in the main living room. Pool is a good size, but not well maintained as the lights were busted and some tiles are loose.
Location is bit secluded, be sure to prepare foods, drinks and snacks or make at least 15-20 minutes drive out. You could ask the helper to cook for you for a fee (IDR 500/ cooking time), the only delivery that was willing to get out there was KFC
Other than the above, we had a lovely stay, a good family time and chill out time

The view is spectacular... if you take a look at the photos on their site, that is exactly what you get. Each room has a view of the breathtaking beautiful ocean.. even the showers! The children (10,12 and 14) couldn't wait to plunge into the pool every day! It's just a piece of heaven on earth... what a way to start your day.. the view of the ocean is the first thing you see... such bliss!
The staff were amazing! Despite the fact that we arrived very late (1:00 am) our butler stayed until like 3:00 am to make sure everything was alright. All the staff were extremely courteous, helpful and always had a wonderful smile. We truly appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality throughout our stay. Our stay was very comfortable, no complaints at all! I would definitely love to go back next year again!!

We booked 3 villas for a wedding party (reception was in Villa OMG). Reception was fantastic but it was run by a 3rd party. Views from all villas are beautiful and rooms are well appointed. BUT service was very disappointing. Pick up was an hour late to take us to the villa, then upon arrival we were told the chef was not working until dinner time, so the only choice then was to take a half hour return trip into town for food. Normally I wouldn't mind having to go into town for food but when I'm paying USD 800+ a night and am told beforehand a chef will be available on site to prepare food, I expect the chef to be there. Staff mostly stood around doing absolutely nothing the entire time we were there and could barely speak any English so getting them to organize anything (transfers etc) was extremely challenging and frustrating. We would get promised something and then realize an hour later our request hadn't even been understood and the staff had just nodded to make us happy . Apart from service issues, other small things like unreliable hot water, and not enough pool lounges and kitchenware for all guests (should go without saying that a 3bdr villa that sleeps 6 should come with enough lounges - we shouldn't have to flip coins for them!) made what could have been a beautiful and well appointed villa seem a bit disappointing. There's probably better offerings out there in this price range.

My fiancée and I, 6 other friends (and a 9 month old) stayed at the Heavenly Residence in Villa OMG for 3 nights. We were staying there for our wedding which also took place at the venue. This villa is truly amazing. At first you are a bit skeptical because to get there you have to drive through the middle of nowhere and it is a long way from anywhere, however when you get there it is truly worth it. The view is amazing the villa sits carved into a cliff so the view from everywhere in the villa is the beach and beautiful water below – even from the toilet and the shower. The villa has 4 massive bedrooms each with huge, modern, clean bathrooms. The place feels positively palatial inside and the staff treat you like kings and queens, they were very accommodating, helpful and provided exceptional service. I would like to thank in particular the driver Agung and The head of staff Dewi. They have an extensive in house menu, the food was great and reasonably price, breakfast everyday was included in the villa rental price and you got to choose either an Indonesian breakfast, a western breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage etc) and pastries. The wedding went off without a hitch, the villa was the perfect location for the wedding and all the guests marveled and commented on how amazing the location was. The only constructive criticism I would have is there are a few furnishings in the villa that could do with updating as they are looking old, for example the ceiling fans were a bit rusted, the wall mounted air conditioners where stained and looked about 20 years old and maybe a lick of paint on the inside and outside. Also the wifi was terrible and barely worked and they need to improve the sound system by at least putting speakers upstairs so music can be heard or put a separate sound system upstairs so music can be played. I don’t really think these are big issues as overall this place exceeded our expectations.

The villas have a great view - no doubt (though be aware that the rear villas are behind the others so the view is not interrupted) but for the price you pay there are better options. The staff were very nice and well meaning but the villa management was poor. The villa we stayed in was in need of some serious maintenance, there was no power in one of the rooms (for the entire 2 and a half week stay), and no hot water for most of the stay (even after several enquiries to get it fixed), the lift broke down twice (which meant many people preferred not to risk getting stuck and lugging children and luggage up 3 flights of slippery stairs) and the kitchen was initially unusable (no gas, cutlery, pots etc). Management made a real effort to improve the service and facilities after a series of escalating complaints which was much welcomed but late. They also agreed to donate to charity to offset our disappointment which was a kind gesture. The place is capable of being fantastic but we could not return given our experience. Hopefully they have learnt from our experience so that yours will be a better stay.
