We checked in for 3 nights this past week and from start (online booking/e-mail communication) to arrival/welcome at the home, it was outstanding service. The house is on the far side of Bellagio which is a lovely reprieve from the tourist crowds in the town center. The property is gated and there are options for fresh air or air conditioning. The House was stocked with breakfast basics-toast, jams, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk and water. One full bath on the first floor with the kitchen, dining and living area, as well as the other full bath on the top floor with the three bedrooms. The walk to town is 10-15 minutes and is a path of large pebbled walkways, some uphill and some down. One definitely needs good shoes and pretty good knees to do the walk. We were able to take our car to town (5 min ride) sometimes and could secure a spot for which we would pay in times we thought we’d be too tired to walk. Our only snag was on understanding where the house was on our first day (we ended up at the address on the paperwork but a phone call solved our problem) and the WiFi was sometimes weak when all four of us tried to use it...but it was an encouragement to unplug and enjoy the scenery and pace of Bellagio. We highly recommend staying here. It was spacious and extremely clean - every surface spotless. It was well appointed if you wanted to cook or relax with books or music. Do yourself a favor and book this wonderful property soon.

This is, by far, one of the best places I have stayed!! This wonderful villa, only a 10 minute walk from Bellagio, has everything you need to make your vacation! The villa is completely private, with a gate to the street. There is parking for your car. The Villa has three bedrooms and two full baths. It has a wonderful old home feeling but with modern conveniences. The kitchen is fully equipped and Luca and Mary left us plenty of water, fruit, eggs, milk, cookies and jam. What a wonderful welcome for our arrival! The beds were excellent and the bathroom nice and roomy with a great shower. We slept with the windows open and it was so quiet. I truly felt like I was staying at a home, not a rental. I highly recommend this villa and we will be back!!

My family and I visited Lake Como in August this year. This Villa was the best thing we did on that vacation! It's beyond beautiful, nice, clean and well equipped. Luca was such a nice man, who didn't shy away for helping us once! It was beyond lovely to have this much privacy. It was a 10-minute walk down to Bellagio, my dad had a bit of a hard time walking this as he is a bit older so he took the small train a lot but otherwise there's hardly anything to note. The only thing I found a bit annoying was the air conditioning, it was a bit noisy at night, constantly turning on and off and I couldn't really seem to figure out how it worked but at least our rooms were nice and cool! Thank you for renting out such a perfect Villa, Luca! P,S; Our most treasured experience in Bellagio was when we hired Federica, a local chef from Como we found on Zestrip.net to come and cook for us in the Villa. It was fabulous! The four of us have been exceptionally happy with this place! It's in a perfect location, just outside the city centre and is equipped with every single thing you can think of. The appliances and other systems are completely up to date and yet the Villa has a wonderful historic feel to it. The beds are super comfortable and all you hear is the tweeting of birds. I haven't slept so well in ages. Luca and Mary (our hosts) are very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!

Only one word comes to mind - MAGNIFICENT, The Villa had everything that you could want and in such quality finish. I would describe it as modern Italian farmhouse in an olive orchard. It also had location, location, location. Not in the village but only a short walk to shops, restaurants and transport.

We have just returned from a week at the villa - Mary was there to welcome us - she was very helpful and if we had any problems we would not have hesitated to contact her. The villa was very comfortable and clean with clean towels every day. It is an ideal place for relaxation and enjoying the peaceful surroundings - we will definitely come back.

This is a beautiful property in a amazing location! 10-15 minute hilly walk from town. The villa was very clean, modern and spacious, and had a housekeeper come in every day to tidy everything. The kitchen was equipped with the basics making it easy to stay in and cook if we wanted. The hosts had coffee, wine and some groceries waiting for us when we arrived - very nice touch! Parking was convenient and easy. The property does not have air conditioning. We stayed here at the end of June and our rooms were quite warm one night. However, when we asked the host for fans, they were delivered in minutes and made the subsequent nights pleasant. The host was waiting for us upon arrival and was readily available if we needed anything. We really enjoyed our time here, if it is in your budget, we'd recommend staying here. The guide books recommended staying in Bellagio or Varenna. Both towns are wonderful and offer plentiful restaurants and shops.

We had a terrific stay at Villa Olivee thanks to Mary, who was wonderfully gracious in helping us get settled and in finding our way around the area. The Villa is sparkling modern with every amenity needed for a lovely stay. The kitchen is well equipped, 3 bedrooms with comfy beds, 2 baths with great showers, large living and dining rooms. We particularly enjoyed having a glass of local wine outside surrounded by olive trees and listening to birds sing. A special treat close at hand was a kayak outfitter. Seeing the villas and villages from water level was spectacular. It was a short - 10 min - walk to town so we were glad to have the exercise on the many steps. This property is highly recommended!!

Wonderful villa and easy location for getting in and out of Bellagio. If you like good food and wine there's no shortage of places to eat and to spoil yourself. Locals friendly and helpful and scenery to die for. First time to Como will not be the last! Thank you.

We were made to feel very special by Luca. He met us at the Villa, spent time showing us the best places to eat, hike, swim etc. The home was set up with basic food and coffee, very much appreciated when we arrived. The home is gorgeous with linens, slippers etc. We would definitely recommend this rental to our friends and family and hope to return one day. Thanks Luca and Alessandra
