Stayed at Villa Sofia for our daughter's wedding. The views are outstanding from every window . Grounds are filled with flowers. Quiet and a wonderful place to get away from the crowds of Bellagio. My husband and I, our other daughter, her husband and two children shared this lovely villa. It is very child friendly with games, puzzles, Disney cd's swing and a trampoline with safety netting. Mariasole was so helpful, even drove our son-in-law to the nearest grocery store. International news stations in english on sat tv. Internet connection flawless. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star was the lack of quality cooking utensils ie, sharp knives, non-coated pans. Highly recommend this vacation home.

Stunning location. Beautiful villa. I travelled with my partner and members of my family for my daughters wedding. The villa is about a 10-15 minute drive to belaggio and you definitely need a car. The 5 double bedrooms are all of a high standard. The lounge, kitchen and dinning room again all well equipped and comfortable. Maria was so helpful from beginning to end. Been back a few days and missing it so much.

Booking Villa Sofia for our holiday was an excellent decision. In the run-up to the trip, Maria Sole (the owner) was incredibly helpful and contactable in terms of helping us understand the best bedrooms for our baby and our toddler and she could not have been more helpful when we arrived on our first day. From showing us around the house and garden, to literally driving us to the supermarket to show us where it was, it was obvious that it meant a lot to her for us to have a great stay in her property. She also remained easily contactable throughout the duration of our visit. The property itself was magnificent. Very, very spacious and beautifully appointed, it was a lovely place to base ourselves for a week in the Lake Como region. Only a few minutes drive from Bellagio itself, it was perfectly positioned. Staying in this property requires having a car, but the roads were pleasant and safe to drive. Overall, we loved staying in Villa Sofia and would highly recommend it. The price was excellent value also.

Wonderful property. At time of check in Ms. Mariasole was extremely helpful in showing all points about the home, as well as local places of interest. Traveling with 3 small children, we really enjoyed the expansive and quiet yard, which is fully enclosed. The children got a lot of use out of the trampoline as well! Terrific home to base out of for exploring around Belagio - very cool and peaceful in the evenings, and a short drive down a scenic road into Belagio town. Traveling opposite direction leads you to many quaint towns and terrific view points, as well as local playground. 15 min drive to Jungle Raider Park, which is fabulous fun for children over 4... Huge Chef's kitchen which was perfect for trying our hand at preparing proper Italian style dishes...Home was very comfortable and a fun place to stay - we look forward to coming back again!

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable 6 day stay at Villa Sofia in Bellagio. The villa is a couple of kilometres from the city centre in the hills and great for finding walking paths. It is well equipped with a great dishwasher, washing machine and dryer and was extremely clean and well maintained. Our kids loved the trampoline and the large garden in which they could run about. Our girls also loved their beautiful little room and the jacuzzi in the bathroom. The owner Maria was warm and friendly and went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable. Bellagio is well located and a great base to explore Lake Como and the many towns around it. We recommend this vacation rental whole heartedly although a car is a necessity.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Sofia. The owner was very friendly and showed us all the facilities. The villa is spacious, well-equipped and in great condition. All the rooms are comfortable. Although slightly further out of Belaggio than we'd realised, taxis are easy to arrange and reasonably priced, and the 10 minute drive is fine if you have a vehicle. I would definitely stay here again.
