This villa has a number of apartments - we stayed in Villa Maria, which is over 2 floors with its own private garden. The view over Lake Orta, from the sitting room & bedroom & garden, is breath-taking. It surpassed the descirption and we loved it.
The villa is siutaed in a lovely old village, with good restaurant nearby and a pizza a few minutes walk away. There is a small town near and Orta is close.
We were greeted by the owner, with a lovely bottle of Prosecco - a really nice touch. The villa offers a range of drinks, honey and water, that residents can purchase on an honesty basis.
The whole thig is just lovely.
A couple of points - the kitchen was a bit gloomy and a little dated and some of the equiment a tad tired (charming, though). The wi-fi was not great, in our experience, sadly.
